37. The truth

"Jin You're a really great cook". Jung-soo praised Jin. They all were having dinner and since it's the first time for them to meet Jungkook's parents, Jin decided to prepare a delicious dinner for them. "Thanks aunt, I'm glad you liked the food". Jin smiled while serving some dishes to Jung-soo.

"Son, we should be thankful to you. Just because of you we were able to breathe freely knowing very well that there is someone who is looking after our son". Si-hyung warmly smiled eyes showing how thankful he is.

"Yes, you made my brat son a responsible person who can take care of himself and now others too". Jung-soo gives a glance to the couple who just smiled. "Yes, he took great care of me and had to listen to him or else I would be served with a flying slipper". Jungkook rolled his eyes.

Jin gasped how can the younger say those things in front of his parents now what they will think of him. "W-what are you saying Jungkook. When I did that". Jin nervously said while glaring at Jungkook who shrugged.

"Really! You don't need to feel sorry. You can beat him you have my permission. He didn't listen to me sometimes. Now since I know I'll call you if I ever feel like he needs some beating". "Mom". Jungkook's mouth hung open in shock and everyone just laughed hard.

"Don't worry aunt he isn't the only one who faces angry bird firing an inhuman language. In fact all the boys sitting here had faced that devil side of Hyung". Yoongi said while chuckling but he forgot that Jin was ready to throw the hot soup on him. Just if Jungkook's parents weren't there it would have happened but Yoongi was lucky.

Everyone laughed while Jin pouted as everyone was making fun of him. Namjoon noticed that and he decided to speak for his boyfriend. "Maybe how much he scolds us but in the end we all know he cares for us more than himself". Namjoon looked at Jin who blushed on that soft tone.

"You didn't know Taehyung when he didn't give you permission to meet Jungkook and shouted at you. That day he cried himself to sleep and was speaking non-stop that he failed to protect both of you. He wasn't angry with you Taehyung but the situation made him behave rudely with you.

He is the one who used to make me call you every single day just to ask you how you are doing. He can't be angry with any of us for more than an hour. He is an elder for us and it brings lots of responsibility too. I stay with him and every time any of you get hurt he always feels disappointed in himself".

Namjoon was rubbing Jin's back who was trying best not to cry. Everyone who was sitting there was aware of the elder's love for them and they're so much grateful to have Hyung. Jin took a deep breath and looked at Taehyung with a broken face.

"I-I ---- ". Jin drank some water as he wasn't able to form words. "I'm really sorry Taehyung for that day. I swear I never meant to hurt you still I did. I can't forgive myself for that but I don't know which type of connection I have with this brat which makes me emotionally weak for him. Seeing him in pain makes me forget everything".

Jin looked at Jungkook who was also sniffing by Jin's words. They both usually never bring the topic of being thankful but their actions show. Today was the day for them to show the emotions by words.

"And I know that Hyung. I'm very aware of how much Jungkook meant to you. I'm not even complaining that you love him lil more because he'll always have someone to look after even when I'm not around. And Hyung about your forgiveness then I was never angry with you nor upset. I know that you care for me and love me and those lil harsh words can't break our connection.

So never feel sorry for ever scolding us and being harsh as we know that will be in our favour only". Everyone agreed with Taehyung and Jin was so emotional. Jungkook stood up and walked toward Jin. He wrapped his arms around Jin and hugged him from behind while placing his face near Jin's.
