Chapter 72

As I lay curled up on the back seat of Sheamus' car as he drove, a massive amout of pain rips through my body. "Ste, it hurts." I whimper out and he spares a glance at me in the rear view mirror, "I know Toni but we're almost there, just hold on a little longer." he says as he returns his eyes to the road. Within a few more minutes, he pulls into my drive way and shuts off his car. He jumps out and as carefully as he could, picks me up bridal style out of the back seat. He kicked the car door closed as Demi comes running out of the house. She takes one look at me and says, "Get her to the garage. Quickly." as she grabs my things from the passenger seat.

When I told Tyra and Sheamus the truth about what I am in San Diego, I also told them about my garage and showed it to them when we returned. Sheamus ran inside with Demi hot on his heels, she opened the garage door and he rushed in; placing me down in the centre. Tyra and Athena obviously heard the commotion because they were both stood by the door looking worried with Athena looking confused as to what was going on. "What happened?" Demi asked Sheamus sternly, he looked over at her and explained everything; trying to keep it PG considering Tyra was in the room.

Demi didn't say anything in response. She just looked over at me when I groaned in discomfort, "Let her take control Payton." Demi says softly. Tyra tried to usher Athena out of the room but she refused, "Athena, believe me, y-you d-don't want to b-be in here when t-this happens. So would you p-please, take Tyra to her room and I promise I-I'll explain everything in the morning." I said through gritted teeth; trying to keep Accalia at bay until she leaves. Thankfully she listens and Tyra drags her out of the room, closing the door behind them.

Accalia manages to break through her restaints and forces total control over me. She bursts forth and my body shifts from human to wolf in an instant but not in a way Demi or Sheamus are used too.

Accalia's POV

It takes me a second to steady myself after emerging; it can often be disorienting. I hear two gasps so I stand tall, raising my head as a murderous growl erupts from my throat. I recognise the two people stood before me from Payton's memory but their names elude me. "Payton." The women says, unsure. I huff but reply, "She is not here." the pair share a concerned look. The women speaks up again, "Accalia." she asks and I nod my head once.

I catch a glimps of my fiery fur and smirk...

The three of us talk for a while before Demi - the women I recognised - takes her leave and Sheamus - the man I recognised - gets comfortable on the couch. I start to feel myself getting tired so I curl up and fall asleep, knowing it wouldn't be long before Payton takes over again.

Payton's POV

Hours later, I wake up feeling super sore. I stretched out and every joint in my body cracked and popped, I rolled my neck and it did the same. I look around the room and see Sheamus asleep on the couch in the garage, I smile as I quietly walk over and cover him with a blanket. As much as I want to curl up next to him, I wanted to spend as much time with Demi before she left for her flight.

I place a soft kiss on his forehead before I leave the garage, heading up the stairs and into my bedroom. As I walk in, I am met by a sleeping Demi curled up on my side of the bed. I quickly change into some plain black cycle shorts and one of Demi's old merch shirts and carefully slide into bed behind her. I drape an arm over her waist and gently pull her to me, this causes her to stir but not wake up as she rolls over and cuddles into my chest; wrapping her arms around me. I slowly but surely fall back to sleep, with a happy and content smile on my face.
