Song: You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch- Tyler, the Creator
——————-Kenzies POV:
I jump up when my alarm goes off, throw myself out of my comfortable bed, and head into the living room.
After a few minutes of standing in the dark living room, I wake up a little more, and start prepping the Santa stuff.
Once I get the stuff together, I go outside, and get the boots my mom used to make the Santa prints, and When I have the boots, I put them inside next to the door, and grab the two big boxes that will be both one of the kids Santa presents. I head back into the house, and start putting the snow around the boots.
After I do the snow, I get two pieces of paper, and write both of the kids a letter from Santa telling them they were good all year, and a few other things. Then I eat one of the cookies they left out and drink a little bit of the milk, so they know it got drunk a little bit. I also put their presents on the side of the tree. Thankfully I pre-wrapped them.
When I finish doing that, it is five and I am so ready to lay back down. Before I go to bed, I pull out the turkey and ham so they can dethaw, and then I head to bed.
As soon as my head hits my pillow, I fall into a deep sleep.

Time passed faster than I wanted it to, it is already six thirty, and my alarm is screaming at me to get up. So I do.
I throw myself out of bed once again, and head into the bathroom to do my business. Once I'm done, I brush my teeth, and put my hair into a messy bun.
After all that is done, I head to the kitchen, and pull out tater tots, eggs, flour, and milk. When I have everything I need, I preheat the oven, put the tater tots on a pan, and start making scrambled eggs as the oven heats up.
Ten minutes later, I finish the eggs, put the tater tots in the oven, and start making homemade gravy.
"Why didn't you wake me? I told you I would help you." Miles' groggy voice says from somewhere behind me, and I jump.
I turn around, and see him sitting on the counter behind me. "I didn't want to wake you up. And it's almost done, I just have to wait for the tots to be done, and finish the gravy." I tell him, and he nods.
"Okay, well I'll wake the kids up when you're done." He tells me, I nod, and turn back around to finish cooking.
As I cook, we stay silent since it's too early to talk, and we haven't had coffee.
When I finish cooking, I hear feet hitting the floor. I turn to Miles and laugh. "Well, looks like you don't have to do anything." I tell him, and he smiles.
"I guess not." He replies, and the two five year olds run into the kitchen.
"Good mornin! Can we open presents now?" They ask at the same time with a big smile on their faces, and I laugh.
"If you wake up Dravon and Eli then we can." Miles tells them, they nod, and run to the guest room.
After a few minutes, the two five year olds run back with big smiles, and slowly following behind them is a very tired Dravon and Eli.
