Kenzie's POV:
It's been about a month since my moms burial, and it has not been easy. From working two jobs, to doing school work until early mornings. It is making me lose my mind.
Not to mention, the guys have been on my tail about sleeping, but they don't want to hear that I have to work two jobs in order to make it. They tell me 'We can help. We want to help you.' But like they don't ever want to hear me, so I don't want to hear them.
Everything is just too much for me right now, and no one seems to understand that.
"Bye Kins. Dravon will pick you up today with Jazzy, and I'll be home around eleven." I tell him, and he nods.
"Okay, I love you, see you in the morning." He tells me, and gets out of my car.
I know it's not easy on him with me working all the time, but he knows it's necessary. But I've made a choice that I am going to follow through with today.
When I see that he is in his school, I take off towards the high school. When I arrive, I park next to Miles's truck, and get out.
"Hey Kenz. What's the plan today?" Miles asks. He knows what I've been giving thought to, and he's not against it like I thought he would be.
"I'm gonna do it at the end of the day. Dravon is picking up Kinsler when he gets Jazzy. Then I'll be home around eleven." I tell him, and he nods.
"Okay." He tells me, and we wait for the other two guys.
After waiting for twenty minutes, Eli and Dravon arrive. Somehow at the same time, but I don't ask them how.
"Sup?" Eli asks, and we shrug.
"Not much being we've been waiting on you two." Miles says, and they nod.
"Well here we are. How's everyone part of the project going?" Dravon asks.
"I'm almost finished with my part. I just have a few more things to finish, but I'll send you the doc so you can put it into the slides." I tell him, and he nods.
"Mines going good. I have three more examples to get done." Miles states, and Dravon nods again.
"Eli and I have it laid out how we think it'll look good. All we're waiting on is you guys." Dravon says, and we nod.
The bell rings warning us that we have ten minutes before class starts, so we head inside while making small talk. I don't miss the whispers that are going around.
Some are saying that I am dating all three of them. Others say that I am their charity case because of what happened. And our all time favorite, I'm pregnant and Dravon is the baby daddy.
I also don't miss how my old 'friends' look at me with disgust as we pass them, but I don't let any of that bother me. If only any of them knew the shit that brought the guys and I together.
"We'll see you guys after this class." Eli says, and Miles and I nod.
"Let's go before we're late." Miles tells me, and I nod.
