Throughout her classes, Abi hadn't stopped smiling. She had to admit
she was a bit distracted. He'd kissed her on the cheek and made sure that she wanted to see him for the third time that week. He wanted to see her for the third time this week! She felt like bouncing like the young lifeguard had done earlier.
Oh God! They were going surfing. What should she wear?!
Between classes, she sent Caitlinn a text.
Abi
He's introducing me to surfing on Thursday. What do I wear?!
Caitlinn
Time to invest in that string bikini ;)
Caitlinn
Your sport bikini will be fine. Maybe a wetsuit top?
Abi
I don't have one.
Abi
Wetsuit top that is. I am NOT buying a string bikini!
Caitlinn
Shopping trip before classes tomorrow it is! Gotta run for a class now.
As she finished her final class of the evening her phone buzzed.
Caitlinn
Meet you downstairs in 5. Don't leave without me.
She went to put her phone in her bag when it buzzed again.
Troy
Really enjoyed lunch today. Sorry about the interruption. Meet you at the lifeguard Tower 7am Thurs?
Abi
Hope the rest of your shift was incident free. Don't worry about the guys, I'll just keep bribing them with cookies. ;) 7ams fine. Do I need a board?
Troy
Quiet few hours at North End. I keep boards in the lifeguard tunnel, we can use them.
Caitlinn
Where are you? Get your butt down here!
Abi stuffed her phone in her bag and pelted downstairs to where Caitlinn was waiting.
"What took you so long?"
"Troy text."
"Girl, he is so into you."
The girls walked the short route home to their apartment.
Emptying her bag onto her bed Abi saw another text.
Troy
If you keep feeding them cookies I'll have competition.
Abi
But if I fatten them up you'll have less competition come your lifeguard challenge. ;)
Troy
You can be my secret weapon.x
Abi jumped in the shower then practically crawled into bed.
Her phone pinged at 8am as she sat drinking coffee with Caitlinn.
Troy
He'll kill me for stealing his phone but thought you should know he's sulking cos he's not seen your fine arse this morning. Whippet ;)
Abi spat coffee everywhere laughing. Caitlinn snatched the phone to read the message.
"Oh my God! Whippet is soooo hot."
"He's also got a steady girlfriend, Caitlinn. Not the lifeguard for you."
"And Troy thinks your arse is fine! Told you you're hot!"
"Give me my phone back." Caitlinn typed quickly before relinquishing the phone.
Abi
Her fine arse has only just dragged itself out of bed.

The camera crew just filmed us wrestling for my phone! How many times have I said sorry for the guys so far? I need to reset my PIN!

LOL. You work in a mad house. Warn Whippet he won't get more cookies if he pranks you again. A.x

That'll keep him in line. I'm being frowned at by the boss. Miss you.x
"Awww he misses you!" Exclaimed Caitlinn, nearly falling off her stool as she leant over to read the texts. "He's totally falling for you."
"It's too soon for that. We've only had 2 dates."
"Yeah! In 2 days! And he already misses you and has organised a third date for tomorrow."
"Is it all a bit quick?"
"Has he kissed you yet?"
"On the cheek."
"The cheek?! I'd have gotten you in bed by now."
Abi shoved her friend off her stall.
"He's not like that."
"He's a bloke. They're all like that. No, seriously, though. If he's arranging to see you lots but he's not made a move then I reckon he really likes you. And you clearly really like him."
"I really do." Abi confessed, hiding her head in her friends shoulder.
"That's a good thing, babe. Don't stress about it. Let's go get you kitted out for surfing."
