Waking wrapped up in Troy's arms wasn't going to get old any time soon. Abi ran her fingers softly over his bare chest. His eyes fluttered open, and his hand skimmed down her arm and over the side of her breast before settling on her buttocks. He kissed her gently and pulled her leg over him, then kissed down her throat and trailed soft kisses across her breasts.

Last night had been exciting and passionate. The chemistry that had been building between them since they met finally exploding. This morning was gentler, slower, full of affection and tenderness. Abi knew she had fallen head over heels. She knew he had said he loved her when he thought she was asleep. Now she felt like he was showing her and though she wasn't ready to say the words yet she hoped that she was showing him how she felt as well.

Snuggling into his chest Abi felt him let out a sigh.
"I'm at Bondi at 9 this morning." He grumbled, placing a soft kiss into her hair. "Never been tempted to phone in pretending to be crook before."
"They'd call you out on that. Pretty sure they noticed us leaving early yesterday."
Troy chuckled. "Yeah. I'll get ribbed for that."
"We better get up. You'll need to go grab your stuff before you go in."

Abi sat on the edge of the bed and reached for her pyjamas. Troy slid across the bed and wrapped his hands around her waist, kissing up and down her bare back. She playfully swatted his hands away and pulled on her clothes, then threw him his boxers. He fell back onto the bed with a resigned sigh and watched her leave the bedroom.

Clattering and whirring echoed down the corridor. Troy pulled on his boxers then hunted for his boardies, pulling them on when he found them.

He emerged to find Abi pouring smoothies into glasses.
"Strawberries, blueberries, yoghurt, banana, oats." She told him as she slid a glass across the counter towards him. He took the glass in one hand and drew her into his side with the other, brushing her hair back to softly kiss her cheek then moving to behind her ear.
A gentle cough interrupted and Caitlinn staggered into the room, grinning.
"Too much PDA for this time of the morning." She groaned and attempted to steal Abi's smoothie. Abi pulled it out of reach but pushed a third glass towards her flatmate.
Troy quickly drank his and headed for a shower.

Caitlinn turned to Abi expectantly.
"Please tell me you finally did the dirty. Was he good?"
Abi couldn't contain her smile.
"Ohhhh he was!" Squealed Caitlinn.
"What happened with you and Bacon last night?" Abi changed the subject.
"Flirting, dancing, then he copped off with a different girl." Caitlinn sighed dramatically. "I'm yet to achieve my lifeguard night of bliss."
Abi laughed at her friend.
"I'm going to go grab a shower."
"Your man's not out of the shower yet."
"I know." Abi replied with a grin before heading for the bathroom.

Just before 9am Abi and Troy walked down from the Bronte to Bondi coastal path onto the promenade. Abi had her bikini on under sports shorts and a simple white t-shirt. Troy was now in his lifeguard uniform, bag slung over his shoulder.

They entered the tower together to find Deano and Danny watching the water. Troy introduced Abi to Danny.
"You're at North End this morning, Gonzo." Deano told him. "Are you hanging out for a bit, Bambi?"
"Yeah, I'll just be down in front of the tower if you need me for translation."
"Thanks, sweetheart. Why don't you grab a spare radio, we can buzz you if we need you then. Show her how it works, Gonz."

Outside the tower Troy pulled her into a deep kiss before jumping the barrier and heading for the Pavilion to dump his bag. Abi ran down the steps onto the already warm sand and found herself a place to sunbake. She'd been there less than half an hour when Deano came over the radio.
"Hey Bambi. Matt has a bunch of tourists at backpackers who keep going back in the water. Thinks they're Chinese, no English."
"Copy Deano. I'll head down there, see if I can help."
