Chapter 17: Time flies by!

Author's POV-

It's already been a month they got married, and since Sheikh Abdullah died, till now there is peace everyone, no one has made any moves yet. But still the silence before the storm arrives is there. Anyone can attack any moment, they all have to be cautious. Whereas today Lorenzo will officially be the leader of Italy, he will officially take over Italy today, there is a small ceremony been held today, only between the 4 ace's. Whereas Zameer can't be more patience for this day because after Lorenzo becomes the leader, he can take over Abdullah's place and finally become an Ace.

At the mafia headquarters-

'I Lorenzo O'Dare, here by in front of all the ace's take over the charge of Italy and become the leader of the 4 ace's! If anyone has any problem with it, then speak now or stay quiet forever' announces Lorenzo

And the ceremony ends here, Lorenzo is officially now I'm charge of Italy!

'Congratulations' says Arlyn

'Thanks you' says Lorenzo

'Congratulations on your another conquer, Italy is your now, boss' says Michel

'Thanks Michel' says Lorenzo

While other ace's congratulated Lorenzo too! Wondering why is Michel here, because now he is Lorenzo left hand, he works for Lorenzo now!

'Is this why you married Lorenzo, to be your  husband's  puppet?' asks Guzaro

'Huh?' asks Arlyn

'Yeah, everyone can see, after you both got married, you did nothing but handled your own people, the few who supports you in everything you do. I thought you will take over your father's position, be an ace and 1 day overrule us, become more powerful than us, like Juliana was. But no you surprised us by doing nothing, left the position everyone wants, your husband throne!' concludes Guzaro

'I really don't care what you think or what other thinks about me. My husband is the King, I don't mind being beside him, support him like other wife's do, I can be his Queen' says Arlyn

'Be our queen then, be the world's queen. Rule the world, accomplish your dream. Even you know that you were never born to be someone's sidekick or someone's wife' says Guzaro 

'First of all, Guzaro I am no one's sidekick, and becoming Lorenzo's wife was my choice and i don't regret it. Let me ask you, why so suddenly you are worried about me, and my position? Are you trying to make me go against Lorenzo? If that's what you're trying to do, then forget it, it may never happen. Because we love each other!' says Arlyn

'Love stories never has a happy ending, take an example of your mother-in-law and you dead father-in-law' says Guzaro

'You know what, I have wasted a lot of my precious time talking to you, in fact listening to your bulshit, I think I am gonna go now' says Arlyn and goes

Night-

'Lorenzo, was my decision to not compete with you,is wrong?' asks Arlyn

'Why are you asking this now, Ari?' asks Lorenzo

'Casually, I just want to know. Because it looks like since i married you I have been doing nothing, literally nothing. It's like after leaving my dream at middle, I feel like life is boring. Remember I said you that I want to be like Juliana, in fact more powerful than her, that even I want to rule the world. But then you came in my life and everything changed, the purpose of my life changed!' says Arlyn

'Did someone say you something?' asks Lorenzo

'No, just wanted to know your opinion' says Arlyn

'Do you want me to make you an ace? I can give you Abdullah's position, if that's what you want Arlyn?! Do you want it?' asks Lorenzo

'It's for Zameer, you know the legacy, only family can continue taking the positions' says Arlyn

'I can change rules for you' says Lorenzo

'Why not your position Lorenzo?' asks Arlyn

'You want mine, you can have it any moment you wish. I can give you anything Ari, just ask me! Do you want to be the queen and rule everyone?' asks Lorenzo

'No, I was just asking, don't take it seriously. I just wanted to know your answer, and I am happy to listen that you would give me anything I want, even your position too' says Arlyn

'Anything for you my love' says Lorenzo

'Hmm' says Arlyn

So here it is,
Lorenzo is ready to give his position to Arlyn. But she doesn't needs it.. Does she really don't want it?
Lorenzo is officially now in charge of Italy!!
