Chapter 47: No warnings, direct action(Part 2)

Half an hour later-

Catalina and other came in the hall..discussing who did this to Lorenzo; she came towards me.
'You did it right? Weren't you the one who did all this?' she asked directly with all the confidence she got. I couldn't answer her anything, because I was guilty..no words came out of my mouth..I was disappointed with myself. She hold my hand, forcing me to stand up, throwing me off on the floor.
'Say something ma..oh Arlyn. Why don't you say something? You changed boss soup into mushroom soup right?' asks Catalina. I couldn't react anything at the moment; she had right to do whatever she is doing, and I kept myself patient doing nothing, hearing her allegations.
'I told you, Cason, she is the one who wanted to kill boss; because none of our man would even thought of hurting boss. You got no other option than doing this? Killing boss by his an allergic reaction?' asks Catalina but I didn't answer her. A tear flowed down my eye..I wanted to cry but I didn't.
'Cason you know what let's execute her; let's kill her' whispers Catalina in his ear
'What are you saying? We can't do this to her, without any proof against her; also she is boss's wife' says Cason
'What more proof do you want? Don't you see her, her condition says it all; that she is the one behind all this, she it at the urge to cry. She is not as strong as she shows us or as we thought' say's Catalina
'But what if boss finds out that we are behind all this..?' asks Cason
'Cason, boss is taking rest; he won't find anything. We will quickly kill her and take her away from the house' says Catalina and after convincing Cason for so long, he finally agreed; Cason went towards Arlyn and ties her hand with a rope so that she couldn't escape them.
'What are you both doing?' asks Arlyn when tries to figure out what they were doing.
'Killing you for once and all. We want you out of our life' say's Catalina and removes her gun and walks towards her. I badly wanted to do something to save myself, to untie thy rope, but that incident flashed in front of my eyes when in past Lorenzo didn't let me go to help my mother when dad was hurting her; i felt the same at the moment; that I was being punished for doing this to Lorenzo. I was numb again..these emotions were filling my eyes with tears; all this broke me today. And I wondered, is this the last few minutes of my life? Am I going to die today..and that's when I thought to give a last try.
'Lorenzo will kill you both if he knows about all this' I said them.
'Who will tell boss? No one, we know how to keep our mouths shut, also he is asleep right now' says Catalina and points the gun at my forehead, I close my eyes to not feel scared or any pain anymore.
'What is going on here? Stop it' says Lorenzo and throws the gun away from Catalina's hand.
I quickly opened my eyes, as I heard the voice of my saviour, my Lorenzo..he came and is savinb me from dying?' I wondered. He untie the ropes from my hand and got me up.
'What the fuck was going on in here?' asks Lorenzo
'Boss..how did you wake up so..' Catalina couldn't complete her sentence as he interrupts her
'How did I wake up so early? Is that what you wanted to ask? I am glad I woke up, or else you would have killed her. How did you even dare to touch her, got the thought of killing my wife?' he asked facing her boldly with fierce look on his face which made her scared.

He is supporting me here? Why?

'She tried to kill you boss. She was the one behind changing your soup into mushroom soup' say's Catalina
'So what. She can do anything she wants to with me..because she is my wife. But how dare you to even try to kill her in my absence, and here I thought that I can trust my gang with anything, but who knew in my back they would try to hurt my own family' says Lorenzo
'She wanted to kill you, how can you be fine by it?' asks Catalina
'That is our matter, how did you both even think of killing her, with whose permission were you even doing that..huh?' he asked shouting at them and continued 'and Cason, what about you..even after knowing everything about us..all the details I shared with you, how can you agree to kill the only person I care about?' asks Lorenzo

He cares about me? Why didn't you ever tell me this?

'I..I am so sorry boss, I was influenced by Catalina' say's Cason
'Apologise to her' orders Lorenzo
'I am sorry' say's Cason
'I am sorry Arlyn' says Catalina
'Mam..Arlyn mam, you mean, right Catalina?' asks Lorenzo
'I am sorry Arlyn mam' says Catalina
'It better be like that or else next time I will find myself better gang members than you both. And both of you don't show me your faces until I decide to forgive you or there is any work or when you both really realise how big mistake you have done' says Lorenzo and they went from there.

'Hey, are you okay?' he asked holding her hands
'Thank god you are okay' she said hugging him tight enough to not let him go..

'This is the first time we are actually hugging after 3 years' he thought

'I am sorry. You know I prayed for you to be alive. I..I' nothing came out of my mouth. Maybe it was enough for me to just have a look of his, that he was all okay now.
'Why..why did you do all this, Arlyn? Am I that bad, that you planned to kill me with my weakness; with an allergic reaction?' asked Lorenzo
'For revenge. I..I didn't wanted to do all this, this is not me at all. I wanted revenge, not to kill you but. I am changing. I am becoming a monster now, who wanted to kill her own husband only for the sake of a revenge? You know right this is not me, I didn't wanted to to this?' asks Arlyn putting her head on his shoulder.
'Hmm..I know you didn't wanted to do all this' he said and then there was all silence in there, he was consoling her.
'Who told you to do this? Whose idea was this?' he asked looking at her. Hearing him, she maintains a little distance from him; looking at him with teary eyes, she said 'dad' says Arlyn and continues 'I am so sorry' says Arlyn and goes from there.

So here it is,
Did Lorenzo knew that Arlyn was the one who planned to kill him?
Lorenzo supported Arlyn
