Chapter 49: Moved on?

'Why the fuck did you tell Frank about us..being husband and wife?' asks Arlyn choking his neck
'Leave my neck then..I..I shall answer you' he said coughing and she leaves.
'Why didn't you tell them that you are married?' asks Lorenzo
'Answer my question first' says Arlyn
'Because no one is allowed to stare at my wife except me. Why did you not tell your gang members about me; that I am your husband?' asks Lorenzo
'Because I don't consider you as my husband. For past 3 years I have been living as a Capone, and I am happy without you, your surname or to be addressed as your wife. I also think that you don't deserve me' say's Arlyn
'Then who deserves you, that Frank?' asks Lorenzo
'At least he's better than you, he wouldn't hurt me at least' say's Arlyn
'No, no, it's not about who hurt you or who doesn't..the point here is that you like him back, right Arlyn? That you have moved on from me, after all?' asks Lorenzo
'Do you hear yourself, what are you saying? That I moved on, from you? Wow..why am I even talking to you right now about all this, I am outta here' I said him and was about to leave but he didn't let me go, putting his hands around my waist, he got me closer to him..closing the car door with his right leg.
'Let me go Lorenzo' I said but he didn't.
'I will, but first tell me..did you really move on from me, so easily? Do you like Frank?' he asked
'Does it matters to you in any way? It shouldn't right, because remember you left me three years ago or should I say that used me and threw me like a toy, after you was bored of it' say's Arlyn
'I didn't use you or threw you, Arlyn. There are reasons for my every action, Arlyn' he said. Intriguing me with his words, I asked him 'what reasons? How many reason have you got? You used me in a way I couldn't even imagine, you used me again and again and I was a fool to not realise it early. Many said me it's wrong to love you; they warned me that you will end up hurting me in the end; in fact your mom was the first one to warn me about you, but I was being a love sick puppy..always behind you, dependent on you that I didn't see the reality, that you never loved me. And you say I moved on from you, until last year I still had the hope that you would come back to me, Lorenzo' I said him and remained silent for him to speak, but he didn't speak anything in defending himself, removing his hands from my waist, letting me go. He got up and I went out of the car, back to the warehouse, back to my work.
