Chapter 22: Date

A week later,
Arlyn's POV-
Yes you guessed it right, our fight is still going on. Because this time it is serious. I am really angry with Lorenzo, and this time I will not be the one to forgive first or say sorry because it's his mistake this time. He hurt me a lot and this thing is serious.
And when I was in my own thoughts, Sheila comes in and hands me over a slip,
'Who gave this?' I asked her
'Sir gave it and said to give you' says Sheila
'Ohk. Thank you Sheila, you can go now!' I said her and she left. A slip form Lorenzo, what must written in it, let me read it,
'Meet me at Lexiana in 2 hours' Omg is Lorenzo and I having a date today. That's so sweet of him, I know he can be rude sometimes but when it comes to keep me happy he can do anything for me. Come let me check what do I wear for our date! By the way Lexiana restaurant was gifted to Lorenzo's mom by his dad Lex as their wedding gift; and their son he gave me nothing! Anyways hopefully this date goes nice!

Garden-
'Sir, Arlyn mam gave this slip for you' says Sheila
'Okay' says Lorenzo taking the notes and Sheila goes
'Meet me at Lexiana in 2 hours' Arlyn gave this note. What is she planning now?

Lexiana-
Arlyn's POV-
I got into the restaurant and one of the staff told me that Lorenzo is waiting for me up in the open room sector. I went up and saw the view was beautiful their, we were at the top floor all alone, I could see the beautiful sky and the decorated room with beautiful fragrance of flowers-and that's when I see Lorenzo, I walk to him; gave him a kiss on his cheek, he pulled out the chair for me and we sat and,
'This is so beautifully decorated. I love it' I said him
'Yes, it's nice' says Lorenzo
'Come one I get it your efforts and all but you can now also apologise to me for that night' I said him
'Efforts?' he asked
'Yes, you did this right? You don't need to pretend I know you were the one who planned this date Lorenzo' I said him looking at his face
'No I didn't, I thought you planned it' says Lorenzo
'No, I didn't too. You didn't do it, I didn't do it, then who did it?' I asked him with a confused face

Author's POV-
When they were both in their own thoughts thinking who planned the date, the waiter comes to take their order,
'Wait, is someone pranking us or what? Is someone going to attack on us?' asks Arlyn

'No..no. I don't think so' says Lorenzo

'Mam, can I have your order please?' asks the waiter

'Sure' says Lorenzo and tell off the order

'Okay, thank you sir. Your order will take some time until you can dance here on the music and one more thing sir, Juliana mam said have a nice date' says the waiter and goes instantly

'That's when I and Lorenzo realised that this date was her idea, it was her plan for us to send on a date and sort out our issues. This was unexpected mom, but thank you!!' thinks Arlyn

'So it was your mom's doing, this surprise date' says Arlyn

'Eventually it was' says Lorenzo

'Anyways now that we are here not waste it right. Let's talk Lorenzo' says Arlyn

'Before that' says Lorenzo getting up from his seat giving his left hand to me and asking me for a dance.
'Have this dance with me Ari' says Lorenzo and I give him my hand and got up and we walked to the centre of the room, I hold my one hand on to his and I put the other on his shoulder. He puts his other hand on my waist getting me close to me!

'This date, I hope it ends like I wished' says Arlyn

'This will be the perfect date and I will make sure of it' says Lorenzo

'You know we are dancing together after so long' I said him getting myself in the rhythm of the music

'Hmm, I know. I am sorry we don't go out often' says Lorenzo

'It's okay. This date is enough for me for a few more months too' I said him putting my head on his shoulder and continuing the dance

'Lorenzo you do realise that you are getting away from me day by day. Instead of coming closer we are going far' says Arlyn

'I know' says Lorenzo

'We don't even talk to each other much nowadays, you are in your world whole day and I am finding my world in you. You don't even share things with me now. You are changing Lorenzo, you are not the man I did fall for. And I don't know why but I feel like that you don't love me anymore!' says Arlyn and continues 'Do you? Do you still love me?' I asked him but he didn't respond to me

'You won't answer me right?' asks Arlyn and he was still quiet and she continues 'This quietness of yours makes me doubt you, makes me questions on your feelings. Your feelings for me are changing Lorenzo..I know that, I can feel it, I can see the changes and differences in you, towards me. We ain't close anymore!' concludes Arlyn

'I love you. I do love Arlyn' says Lorenzo

'Why can't I believe your words? It feels like you are lying to me..about something' says Arlyn

'I am not. I still love you' says Lorenzo and peeks my lips and our food was here. We stopped our dance and went back to our table, had our food; which was delicious and took mind of some things I don't want to remember. This date was best, perfect. I told Lorenzo everything I was thinking these days; my insecurities, my instincts and everything. He listened to them without arguing, and for the first time in months I felt relieved. Later we had some wine!!

At home-
'Haha' says Arlyn coming in

'What is happening here?' asks Juliana

'Oh, look who is it? My mother-in-law Juliana. Thank you so much mom for todayyy..hehe. The date for perfect. For the first time in months we heard each other quietly and we didn't argue. J I'm love you for planning this date' says Arlyn and hugs her

'I love you to dear, but I think you should take some rest now' says Juliana

'At the end of the date, she drank too much of wine and this is the result, she couldn't handle it' explains Lorenzo

'Okay, I got it. Take her to the room' says Juliana and goes

'Hmm' says Lorenzo and take her to their room

Lorenzo's room-
'Sleep' says Lorenzo

'Okay..you know what Lorenzo, don't hate me ever. I can't handle people's hate. First I lost my father's love, I don't want to lose yours. Don't even hurt me ever, I will break if you hurt me; because I am not strong as you are. Keep me happy always and I will keep you too' says Arlyn

'You are strong, more than me. And I want to give you whole world's happiness but I can't, at least I will let you have a little by letting you go. I love you enough to let you go Ari'

The date was nice!! It was planned by Juliana
Lorenzo is really letting go Arlyn!
