Chapter 29: Shifting

Past

Morning
Arlyn's POV-

It's already been a month since that night we slept together, Lorenzo did not come back with me to Italy I came back alone, because he still had some pending work there and it's been a month and he is still there in England and I am here, in Italy. I miss him, I call him a few times, and guess what he's answering my calls too, now..I guess that night changed both our lives for good. I am happy now, it's feels like the old Lorenzo is back, the one who showed full interest in me and the one who loved me with his whole heart!! By the way he's coming back today, and I am kind of excited to meet him, because he never shared his thoughts on that night, I know he was the one who made the first move, but the next morning, I was...the one who shared my thoughts, not him..so I want to know his thoughts too..he said he wants kids? Really does he..because we never had this type of conversation till now, especially on wanting kids! So I think it's high time we have this conversation.

Few hours later-
'Hey' I said and we side hugged
'Hi' he said and after greeting the other family members, he came to room!
'So how was it?' I asked
'What?' asks Lorenzo
'Your work of course' says Arlyn
'Oh yes, it went fine' says Lorenzo
'Oh I see' says Arlyn and continues 'are you tired?' asks Arlyn
'No, I am good. But I will get fresh and come' says Lorenzo and goes to the bathroom
'Sure' says Arlyn

Few minutes later-
Lorenzo comes out of the bathroom only in a towel,
'Lorenzo only towel, seriously' says Arlyn
'So what? Any problem? It's not like you haven't seen anything before' he said winking his eye
'What if some other woman would be here in our room and see you like this' says Arlyn
'Then she would be flattered by now, unlike you who is arguing with me' says Lorenzo
'Aha..really' I said coming closer to him
'Yes really' he said and pulled me fully close to him, I could hear his breathing and my heart started beating so heavily, I was an inch far from his lips..he moves his hair side by side, and few water droplets fall on my face and I close my eyes and he spoke up,
'I am only yours to see and stare at' says Lorenzo putting a kiss on my cheek and I was shocked by this behaviour of his
'Of course, because I am your wife' says Arlyn
'You sure are' says Lorenzo
'Go and wear some clothes now' I said him pushing away from me
'Should I really go?' asks Lorenzo
'Yes go' says Arlyn
He walks a bit and turns his head behind a bit, looking at me and says,
'Should I go?' asks Lorenzo
'Go or else you will face my wrath' says Arlyn
And he didn't say anything further and went!

In the living room-
While they all were having their dinner, Lorenzo spoke up;
'We are shifting!' says Lorenzo
'We?' asks David
'I and Arlyn of course' says Lorenzo
'Oh' I mouthed in shock
'Why? And when? Did Arlyn agree?' asks Juliana
'Why shouldn't be a question. But still I will answer, I want us to have our personal lives, a far from this house and the everyday drama we have here and of when, probably this week' says Lorenzo
'That's the best decision you have ever taken Lorenzo. I am so happy that I wouldn't have to see your grumpy face everyday' says David
'Shut up David' says all 3 of them together and he kept quite
'So you have made your decision?' asks Juliana
'Yes I did' says Lorenzo
'What about Arlyn then?' asks Juliana
'What about her? She will come along of course!' says Lorenzo
'Will you Arlyn?' asks Juliana
I thought for a minute and answered her, 'Yes mom, I will' says Arlyn
'Looks like you both are on good terms now' says Juliana and continues 'fine then, I don't have a problem with it. You kids have grown up now, do whatever you want to' says Juliana banging the table a bit and goes to her room
'You should have at least discussed about this before telling it to them, Lorenzo' whispers Arlyn in his ear
'I thought you would have agreed on it anyhow' says Lorenzo
'I would, but she clearly didn't take it well. Let me go and talk to her' says Arlyn and goes

Juliana's room-
'Mom' says Arlyn looking at Juliana who was sitting on the couch
'What do you want Arlyn?' asks Juliana
'We are sorry, in fact I am sorry..even I had no idea that Lorenzo would say something like this' says Arlyn
'But he did right and you agreed to him. So shift to somewhere else, wherever you want actually' says Juliana
'I had to agree, even you know why. Wasn't he right when he said about the everyday drama, till we both are here, it will never stop, shouldn't we all live a happy life..because of it I said yes' says Arlyn
'When I finally accepted you, you want to leave and Lorenzo, he..he still didn't forgive me and you both want to leave this house and go. Fine go, it's not like I need you anyways' says Juliana
'We both need each other, don't we? We are shifting but I promise, we will meet every week and I will call you often; so you don't miss me' says Arlyn passing a wink to her
'As if' says Juliana and continues 'you promise right?' asks Juliana
'Yes' says Arlyn
'By the way how did you sort out things with Lorenzo?' asks Juliana
'It all happened in England actually..' I said her and narrated the whole part and after convincing her for long I went back to my room to find Lorenzo there

Lorenzo's and Arlyn's room-
'I wanted to ask where are we going to shift?' asks Arlyn
'The mansion I made for us..Ari mansion' says Lorenzo
'It's on my name' says Arlyn
'Yes on yours' says Lorenzo
'I went there once to meet mom, but I didn't see it properly' says Arlyn
'Then you will see it, this week' says Lorenzo
'Hmm. Also I wanted to ask..a month ago, on that night, you said me you want kids, do you really?' asks Arlyn
And he didn't spoke for 2 minutes, looked like he went into some deep thought, so I asked him again 'Do you really want kids Lorenzo?'

When Arlyn asked me about wanting kids, I went into deep thought 'Heir, didn't sleep together yet, Give me your position, I will kill her, you shouldn't have married her, you kept both of your lives in danger' these all thoughts stated going through  my mind when Arlyn spoke up.. 'Do you really want kids Lorenzo?'
'Yes..yes I do' I said assuring her
'Thank you' says Arlyn
'Thank you for what?' asks Lorenzo
'For being you, being the old you' says Arlyn and hugs him

So here it is,
Arlyn and Lorenzo are shifting
