Chapter 46: The Betrayal

Jaune starts to opening his eyes as it takes a bit for him to recover his vision as he only see a flash of light which was the light above him.

He starts to grown and tries to roll to his side forgetting how the bed layout was as he hits his head and falls out of the bed and broke a wooden chair that was nearby as a loud *Crash* was sounded as the door was slammed open as some people called out to him but Jaune couldn't recognize their voices nor their words as his head is ringing, He started to hold his head as the noise starts to become quiet as he was lifted up from the ground and the broken wooden pieces from the chair and laid back on a bed.

More voices started to flood the room as Jaune sat up holding his head as someone placed a hand on his shoulder which instinctively made him leap back off the bed hitting his back on the wall as he was about to collapse to the ground but summoning and the Excalibur still hidden in the mist as he points it at the people who e can barely sense as his vision is blurry.

Jaune starts to sway to the sides as he can barely hold up the blade as he drops the sword as it disappears as he crashes to the side of the bed but barely holding himself up with a ladder of the bed.

He was actively trying to regain his vision but was having trouble as if his mana was playing up.

Jaune Thoughts: W-What is happening.....

He felt another soft touch on his arm which again on instincts he went to grab to throw over him but couldn't muster the strength as he could on place a hand on the person arm as his hearing slowly comes back to him.

????: -Une... Its.... Okay.... Everyo..... Goo....

Multiple voices were talking at the same time as he starts to regain what mana he had in him even if it was a bit, He focused all of the mana to heal his hearing as he started to hear familiar voices.

Mordred: Hey! Dont touch my King!

She seem yelling even louder then usually as his visions comes back to him slightly as Mordred seem to be standing Infront of him with her back turn to him where there were multiple people Infront of her.

Yang: Mordred Relax, We only want to Question hi-

Mordred: Dont temp me you blond f*ck, He doesn't need any of you people, He just need to recover with me guarding him to not allow anyone get to close to him in this condition of his!

Yang: I dont want to start any-

Ruby: Yang, It's Okay... Mordred Look we all can come bac-

Mordred: You All will be leaving while I guard him as I should. Go do your jobs while I do mine. 

Ren: Mordred, We need to question him on why would he think of-

Mordred: Quiet Flower Boy, Go pick some weeds from the back garden or become a Atlesian Robot Soldier since you so hell-bent on acting like one.  

Nora: Okay Mordred, No need to insult everyone!

Mordred: I am doing what I Need to do and Want to do So do Me and Jaune a favor and leave Me to do my job and go F*ck off while you leave how about All of you while you're at it.

Jaune slowly gotten up as he leaned on a wall catching his breathe.

Jaune: What..... Is happening.....

Mordred: My King!

Everyone but Mordred stayed quiet.

Jaune: My head hurts so much... What is happening....?
