Everything about the day went quite well. Willow emerged from her room, looking refreshed after a shower and no longer resembling the drunken mess she had been before. Jaune escorted her with a smile towards the meeting room, while Mordred, realizing Jaune was gone, ran through the entire manor, destroying multiple walls in her search for him. Eventually, she bumped into Jaune, who was escorting Willow to the meeting room.

Willow found Mordred's infatuation with Jaune amusing, and she was shocked when Mordred referred to Jaune as her mother. However, like everyone else, she chose not to question it. They reached the meeting room, where Whitley, Winter, and Willow went into their own room to discuss a family matter. Ironwood looked quite surprised at Jaune's accomplishment.

Ironwood: You got her to leave her room and try to mend the relationship?

Jaune nodded with a small smile.

Jaune: As per Sir Schnee's request, yes. I spoke to her and used her motherly instincts to convince her.

Ironwood chuckled.

Ironwood: Has the video been sent out already?

Jaune opened his scroll and checked the timer for the auto-upload.

Jaune: It's about to go live. We need to hurry and head to the tower.

Ironwood sighed, rubbing his head.

Ironwood: Are you certain this is the right decision?

Jaune: Trust me, Ironwood. The kingdom will only grow stronger once the truth is known. People will unite and stand together. Have faith in humanity.

He smiled, and Ironwood nodded, certain that he wouldn't make the same mistake as Ozpin in hiding the truth.

Ironwood: Is Robyn in position where we planned?

Jaune swiped on his scroll, and after a few moments, a notification sounded, catching Jaune's attention.

Jaune: She's close by. Clover and Qrow are there, right?

Ironwood nodded in response to Jaune's question.

Ironwood: Yes, and based on what you told me about the wound you left on him, he won't get away, nor will Watts.

Jaune nodded, patting Ironwood on the back.

Jaune: Good job keeping a calm head up there. You did well.

Ironwood smiled lightly, appreciating the compliment.

Ironwood: I should be thanking you instead.

Suddenly, the Schnees re-entered the meeting room. Whitley smiled and patted Jaune on the shoulder before returning to his seat, while Winter stood behind Ironwood with a slight smile on the edge of her lips, trying to maintain a serious demeanor. Willow appeared visibly happier but managed to calm herself down and also took a seat.

The meeting continued as usual, but Willow surprised everyone with her intelligence and contributions during the discussions. Even Willow herself was taken aback by her own child's intelligence.

Willow's Thoughts: Jaune really did speak the truth...

She looked at Jaune, who was still standing near the door with Mordred, keeping guard. She smiled at him, and he noticed, returning the smile. Mordred, however, noticed their interaction and glared at Willow, who simply giggled softly before engaging in conversation with her son and the general.

Mordred whispered to herself, annoyed by the situation, before sighing. Jaune comforted her by patting her head for a few seconds to calm her down.

The meeting went exceptionally well, and a contract was formed between the Atlas military and the Schnee Dust Company. The military would receive a mass amount of dust to protect both Atlas and Mantle. Once the Grimm activity decreased due to the radio/Grimm system they had in place, the borders would be opened, with enhanced security measures in place to protect the company's shipments from Grimm attacks and pirates.
