As you reach the balcony overlooking the wide open ballroom below you, it was as you predicted.

Mama Donya lay on a slab, with a sheer black cover over her, flowers and candles surrounding her. As expected near every big hitter in the flagsmashers was there to support the one and only Karli Morgenthau.

"You helped us all Mama Donya. We thank you for that." Karli spoke softly and with sincerity. Miracles did apparently happen.

As she cradled a young child in her arms she glanced around the room before finally landing her eyes on you, you couldn't help but smirk, the panic set in her eyes.

"As predictable as ever Karli. Long time no see boss." You mutter to yourself.

You stay in sight of Karli but no one else as the funeral proceeds on, a few other people make their speaks and everyone lays a flower on or beside Mama Donya. Before you knew it, everyone filtered out and Karli was left standing alone.

You activate the Comms Walker insisted you had on you "stay put boys, I want a little chat with her first."

"What could she possibly want to talk to her about? We've got to get her NOW!" Walker berates you under his breath, gripping the bridge of his nose as he paces.

"Just relax John, please." Lemar soothes.

As you walk into the room, Karli look contemplative, as she was caressing a piece of jewellery in her hand.

"Couldn't give me a minute huh?" She asks begrudgingly.

"Oh I'm sorry, I must of forgotten about that time you gave me the same courtesy when-" you tilt your head, squint your eyes and grip your chin imitating thinking "oh wait" you say dramatically clicking your fingers "you didn't. On multiple occasions. Karma really is a bitch isn't she?" You ask mockingly.

"You've turned cold Y/N" she had a hint of impressed to her tone. "It's good to see, the backbone suits you." Confirming she was in fact... Proud. Impressed. Happy.

"Vengeance is a great motivator." You bite back.

"I'm not the enemy Y/N. You know that." Karli counters back to you.

"All I know Karli is that the world will never be safe with people like you in it." She raise your arms to side, showing you weren't going to change your opinion or your stance on why you were there.

Her reaction of looking down and seeming on egde, threw you. She never once acted vulnerable, scared or worried. But this time she was.

It should of felt great to see it happen.

And it did.
