Trust

In the chaos, Karli had slipped away, but had knocked her pouch off as she was running away.

"Karli!" Karli!" Walker repeatedly roared through the hallways as he followed her through the building.

He didn't realise you were hot on his tail over his own droning voice. You see Karli ahead of Walker. The hesitance and panic in her face and she wanted to reach for the viles that managed to stay in tact on the floor.

But the door at the top of some stairs opened and her second in command gestured for her to come with him.

She looked back, at the viles and back her second in command and off she sprints, up the stairs, with him wrapping his arm around her and blocking her with his body, guarding her out of walkers reach and sight.

She might be hated by us, a threat to the country, but that girl was cherished by the ones who followed and believed in her.

Had she applied her skills, determination and knowledge to something that wouldn't want to wipe out the planets population she would of been an unstoppable force.

You slow down knowing she already had a head start and knew her hide out spots, but walker ran head, you hear a crack and smash and he looks down.

He spots the viles.

He looks, contemplates and does the unthinkable.

He picks up one of the viles, does a look round. Pathetically because he doesn't see you stood right there and puts it in his pocket.

You lean against the wall, with your leg bent and foot also against the wall wearing a smug smile as you start tutting.

He whips his head around in a blind panic and goes as white as the white in his lovely Spandex suit.

"And I'm the one who can't be trusted."

He goes to speak but we both hear footsteps coming from the doorway and in comes his bestfriend. His second in command. The one and only loyal Lemar Hoskins.

"John?" Lemar asks skeptically. Looking between us both.

You scoff, you didn't have the time for this. "If you two neanderthals don't mind? I'd like to get Karli." You walk out, rolling your eyes once more.
