༻ scenario: disneyland ༺

so i am what you'd call a 'disney teenager' and as my 36th trip to disney approaches, here's a little scenario with disneyland
BTW this is for disneyland & california adventure in anaheim, not the magic kingdom and other lands in orlando (i live on the west coast) so if there are any inconsistencies to your knowledge, if you're a disney world goer that is, please put your pitchforks down. ... then again idk how many of y'all are disney freaks like i am

gon

gon wants to try it all. every ride, every snack, every character. all of it. he has so much energy throughout the entire day, there is rarely a moment that he gets tired. the lines are probably the most tedious part, but only for lines with short queues. he doesn't really mind lines that are constantly in motion. for example, rise of the resistance in star wars land or ...mickey's runaway railroad in toontown... but queues like pinocchio's daring journey and peter pan's flight make him really antsy. they're also really claustrophobic which he hates.

favorite rides
disneyland: splash mountain. he loves water rides. he always volunteers to sit in the front. jungle cruise is a close second because he likes the animals and the jokes
california adventure: grizzly river run. like i said, he loves water rides. he finds great joy in watching his friends freak out over getting soaked with water. he also likes toy story midway mania because he enjoys competing with killua

least favorite rides
disneyland: pinocchio's daring journey. the line queue is really tight, the ride is slow, the whale scares the shit out of him
california adventure: ariel's undersea adventure. once again, it's slow and kind of boring to him

he's like gon, he wants to try everything. he's not as excited about meeting characters though. the mascot characters scare him, and the princesses make him nervous (teenage boy pretty girl nerves). he's a thrill seeker so he's all about the big, fast rides like space mountain and the incredicoaster.

favorite rides
disneyland: space mountain. it's fast and dark and he loves every second of it
california adventure: incredicoaster. it's even faster than space mountain, perfect for a thrill seeker. he also likes the scent of cookies in one of the tunnels

least favorite rides
disneyland: it's a small world. it's super slow and the song drives him crazy
california adventure: ariel's undersea adventure. has the same dislike for it as gon. it's slow and boring. he thinks it's a "girl's ride"

he's not as childishly excited about disneyland as gon and killua, but he does still enjoy being there. his main goal was to try a dole whip, and that he did. he loved it. he'll of course go on rides, but he enjoys the slower rides a bit more than gon and killua

favorite rides
disneyland: cassey jr circus train. i know i know, it's very white mom of him, but it's the perfect ride to watch fireworks on. he enjoys the fireworks
california adventure: soarin' around the world. the scents in the ride are what sold him on it (for those that don't know, as the scene changes, different scents are released into the ride room). it's very relaxing

least favorite rides
disneyland: buzz lightyear astro blasters. he hates it because he isn't good at it (he's like me. also for those that don't know, in this ride you're given blaster guns and need to shoot targets to get points). leorio also does him dirty and spins the ride car all the time
california adventure: guardians of the galaxy: mission breakout. the drops freak him the fuck out.
