gon had just defeated an enemy nen user. not even defeated, killed. he had killed them. it was violent, it was gory. but at least they was dead. gon had ran back to you to check on you, when you scooted away from him.

"hey, whats wrong?" gon asked, pouting.

"gon, i love you, but you reek of blood and sweat. it's bad." you answer, slightly gagging at the smell.

"well then i'll just go in the water and wash it off!"

"no. fish like blood. then youll just be covered in fish saliva. im taking you home so you can shower properly."

"fine fine. i love you," gon tried leaning in to kiss your cheek but you quickly pushed him away.

"did you alrady forget that you smell like blood and rotting flesh?" you laughed.

"alright alright! lets go home now so i can have kisses sooner." gon chuckled back.

long story short you made him shower outside. aunt mito wouldve been pissed if he got blood on her floor.

killua had recently gotten into an argument with his father. a very bad argument at that. silva was yelling at killua for taking alluka from the mansion, and not prioritizing becoming an assassin and the zoldyck heir. this argument left killua extremely irate and short tempered. this obviously left you very scared of him. he was an assassin after all.

"'ey, y/n, where are all my chocolate robots?" he asked, the tone in his voice aggravated.

"im afraid... im afraid you ate them all last week..." you hesitated."

this was just gasoline to the fire. first he gets in a huge argument with his dad and now he's run out of his chocolate robots.

"no. i couldve sworn i still had a couple left. theres no way they're all already gone."

"no, you finished the last one off on friday."

"ugh. dammit." killua stood up, slamming his fist into the wall, causing you to flinch.

"hey, y/n, what was that for? you know i would never hit you." killua asked, worry painted in his voice.

you gave no response.

killua pulled you into a hug.

"i'm... i'm sorry for reacting the way i did. i never meant to scare you the way i did. its just, its just that the fight that i just had with my dad is frustrating me. but still, i never intended to scare you. i'll tell you what. how about we go and get something sweet together, hm?" he apologizes

"that... sounds good." you smile.

killua pulls away, and instead takes your hand, and leads you to the door. it was hard to stay afraid of him.
