Jj had been pestering Lily all week to see the dress but of course there was no way she would give in. Halloween was rolling around and fast, Lily had gone costume shopping with Freya the previous day and had grabbed possibly the cutest Minnie Mouse costume for Daisy.
Ethan and his new girlfriend Faith had invited everyone over for a little Halloween party, obviously no kids were allowed so Daisy's costume was pretty much just for photos to go into her memory box that Tobi had bought for her. Yinka and Jide were overjoyed to have their granddaughter staying over again for another night.
Anyway, Faith had fitted in with the other girls easily and had quickly become one of their bestfriends and had joined the 'Housewives of London' groupchat within hours of meeting them. Faith had fallen in love with Daisy which was completely understandable because she was the most beautiful little girl in the whole world.
"Oh oh oh! ABBA" Talia suggested as she scrolled through a fancy dress website. Even though Lily and Freya had gone shopping, they didn't go for themselves because quite frankly they couldn't find anything. "Nah what about like.... urm, Scooby Doo?" Lily replied as she immediately began searching for ideas. "Oooooo yeah!"
So that had settled it, Scooby Doo it was. Now after a bit of arguing with the girls on the phone, they had finally agreed to their characters. Lily was going as Velma, Talia was going as Daphne but only because she had a ginger wig, Freya despite not wanting to agreed to go as Shaggy which left Ellie as Fred and Faith as Scooby.
"Can I not just stick a pair of red contacts in and call it a day?" Freya pleaded down the phone, what was wrong with Fred? "No!" Lily and Talia said simultaneously.
"Hey Lils, I'm gonna head out to film. I'll be back before dinner" "Yeah that's fine, is chicken okay?" He nodded his head in reply before giving his fiancé a quick kiss and then leaving the door. The car engine could be heard from probably a mile away.
"Have you booked the honeymoon yet?" Talia asked her bestfriend. "Yeah, Greece for eight days" She replied whilst pulling up the booking. "and what about the shoes?" Lily walked upstairs and into her wardrobe before pulling out the most beautiful pair of Jimmy Choo's.

Talia gasped at the sight of them and Lily began to go through everything she had bought for herself in the past few days. She had bought her shoes, the veil, her wedding underwear and all her jewellery. Now all that was left to do was pick up the flowers but that was her father's job the morning of the wedding oh and the cake but that's wasn't to be picked up until the 4th.
"Have you got your vows written yet?" "No, we're doing speeches at the reception instead of writing our own vows" "So have you written your speech yet?" Lily stared at her blankly and shook her head no. "Lily! There is literally a WEEK until the wedding and you haven't even wrote your speech! Fuck I started and finished mine months ago" "There's just too many things to say, I just don't know where to begin" "Fuck it, you're ordering food tonight- we have a speech to write"

Lily's POV
Jj arrived home just before dinner time but upon walking in to the living room where Talia and I was sat he was horrified. There was paper EVERYWHERE, pens, glitter and glue. I wasn't actually sure why there was glitter and glue but Talia suggested jazzing up the paper because I wanted to frame it sometime after the wedding but finally after hours of thinking and writing we came to the conclusion that we were terrible! Absolutely terrible at writing stuff.
"How has Daisy been?" Jj asked me as he walked over and picked up our daughter who was jumping in her jumperoo. "Brilliant as usual, what do you want for dinner, it's too late now to cook something?" I asked him as his happy facial expression turned into a confused one. "What have you been doing all day?" He asked jokingly, In reply I waved a piece of paper. "Do you mind bathing her while I order food and make her bottle?" I asked him as I began clearing up the coffee table, he agreed as he took Daisy upstairs.
"Where the fuck did you appear from!" Talia shrieked as Simon scared her, "I was on the phone with Nick, he was filling me in on the game " Talia nodded in response before I asked if they were staying for dinner. After hearing them agree, I picked up my phone and called the local pizza place to place my order.
"Si, have you wrote your speech yet?" I asked, he nodded in return before saying "I've had it written since the day Jj asked me to be his best man", "Can I read it?" I asked. "You can wait another seven days and then you can read it" Smirking he waved a piece of paper in my face. I was dreading his speech I'm not going to lie, fuck I was dreading everyone's speeches including my own.
By the time the pizza's had arrived, Daisy was down for the night so like every other night myself, Jj, Simon, Talia and Harry sat in the living room watching whatever crap was on tv and stuffing our faces. I felt bad for Harry sometimes, well all the time- he was single and was constantly around couples. Harry claimed he didn't mind but I knew he did, I knew he longed for someone to call his own. Although she was a complete fucking psycho, I knew that Harry missed Jade- they had been together for years and within a few months she had turned into a stranger and that hurt him, it still hurt him to this day.
"I'm gonna head up, night guys" Harry said as he closed his pizza box, grabbed his phone and can before leaving the room, a few seconds later we heard his door close. "I feel bad for him" Talia admitted and I agreed because he needed some stability in his life, he was living with two of his friends who were about to get married and their baby. "I have this cousin, she would be perfect for Harry. Do you think I should set it up?" I asked as my younger cousin Mollie popped into my head. "She's coming to the wedding, actually she's coming over in a few days... OH I can invite her to Ethan and Faith's!" I exclaimed as I pulled my phone out and clicked on Mollie's contact.
This is pretty much just a little filler chapter. I've been thinking of splitting the wedding into maybe 3 or 4 chapters? So please leave a little comment if that's something you would want x
