Chapter 11

THIRD PERSON

4 and a half hours was not enough time. Lily spent way to long in the shower, then she had to blow dry and style her hair. By the time she began her makeup, she only had an hour and a half to do it.

Lily was a perfectionist, she took her time with everything, well unless it was alcohol... she downed those drinks like water. What made matter worse is that Jj turned up earlier than they had scheduled, he claimed he was just bored but truthfully he missed her and was eager to see her again.

"Give me 10 minutes and I'll be down" Lily said as she greeted Jj before running back up the stairs.
Lily took a further 25 minutes until she was fully ready. As she walked down the stairs, Jj stood staring at her with his jaw almost hitting the floor.

"You look... um Wow!" He gasped at the sight of her.

Lily's POV

"Awh thanks babe" I replied as I grabbed my keys and we headed out the door. I turned around and locked the door before walking over to Jj's car and getting into the passenger seat.

Jj drove us to this lovely little restaurant on the other side of the city. Over dinner we just spoke about the usual stuff you would on a date, we got to know alot more about each other and of course I had a few cocktails.

"So where are we going now?" I asked as I sat in his car and fastened my seatbelt as he began driving in a different direction to home.
"You'll see" He replied as he turned the radio on.
The car ride was silent, the only noise was the radio playing softly in the background.

"I know it's late... and cold but I thought we could come to the beach." Jj spoke as he stopped the car and turned it off. I opened the car door and stepped outside feeling the cold air hit me.
"I brung a blanket, firgued you would get cold" He asked as he offered me the blanket which I gladly took.

We walked along the beach hand in hand.
"I've always loved the beach, I guess i feel more connected to my mum here" I opened up as we sat down on the sand which was thankfully dry.
"Her ashes were scattered out in the sea, we took a boat out a few months after she died. I barely remember it, I had just turned 7" I added as Jj sat beside me listening.
He didn't really know what to say, I could tell by the look on his face.

"Anyway, enough sadness. Thank you for tonight Jj, its been more than amazing" I said changing the subject.

"You coming In?" I asked as Jj pulled up outside my house.
"Eh, yeah fuck it" His reply was as he got out the car and followed me up the steps.
"You want a cuppa?" I asked as i sat my coat down and made my way to the kitchen. I heard a 'yes' coming from the living room and stuck the kettle on.

"Here you go" I muttered as I handed him the cup of tea.

We sat in silence for a while as we watched a movie on the tv, soon enough we made our way upstairs.

Waking up beside Jj had became a habit not that I minded though.
"Last night was amazing" I said groggily as I yawned and stretched my arms.
"Do you mean the date or the sex?" He laughed.
"Erm both" I replied with a chuckle.

"So urm, where does this leave us now?" He asked as he turned his body to face me.
"Where ever you want it to Jid" I responded as i turned over to face him.
"I want you Lils, I want you to be mine" He whispered as he place his forehead against me.

Is this what I wanted? Did I want him? Of course I bloody did, I wanted nothing more than to be with him.
"I want you, I want to be yours" I answered as I kissed him.
"Then be mine"
"I'd love nothing more"
