Pai's Point of View

"Hey, Sky... How was your day?" I asked him.

"It was good, Pai. You know Gun is very humble and sweet. We spent the whole day together."

Upon hearing this, I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. I tried my best to control my emotions.

"Did you confess to him?"

"Not yet, but I plan to confess soon. I think he also loves me. He seemed really happy after meeting me."

"Oh, that's great. What did you guys do?"

"We talked about old times and future plans. I suggested that he give me tuition. I thought it would be a nice way for us to spend time together."

"No, it's not like that. You know I'm a Playboy. I never love someone. I was just jealous as a friend because you're my closest friend."

"Pai, I had no idea you felt this way. Our friendship means everything to me. You've always supported me, and I cherish that. We're friends forever. But Gun is really special to me. You know how much I love him, and now we're finally together after all these years."

I nodded, trying my best to hold back my emotions.

"I understand, Sky. I just want you to be happy. I want you to know that I'm here for you. Your happiness matters to me."

"Thanks for understanding, Pai."

Are you mad, Pai? You were going to propose to him. He doesn't love you, and you know that if he finds out about my feelings, he'll likely end our friendship. Besides, you're not even certain about your own feelings. Maybe you're overthinking things. You promised to support him, so don't forget that.

Sky's Point of View

Today was the best day. I finally met my love. As I entered our condo, Pai asked me about Gun, and I told him everything. He looked sad, and when I asked him about it, he confessed that he was jealous because I was spending time with Gun. I was shocked to hear this. I had mistakenly thought that he had developed feelings for me, but it turned out he was jealous as a friend. I became worried about our friendship.

In the morning:

"Hey, are you going for tuition?"

"Yes, you know I'm excited. I had a dream this morning that Gun proposed to me and we kissed. Oh, I'm feeling shy..."

"Ohh..."

"Maybe we'll have some romantic moments. Maybe we'll share our first kiss."

"You've been watching too many dramas. It's not a drama; it's reality."

"I know, I think I'm thinking too much."

"Don't feel sad. So what if it's not like in the dramas? You can still try to increase your closeness with him."

"You're right. Okay, bye. I'm going now. Gun is calling me."

At Gun's condo

Pai's Point of View:

I entered Gun's condo, which was quite spacious. He asked me to take a seat and offered me food, but I declined for now. After a while, we started studying, and I tried to get closer to him, but my attempts always fell short. Suddenly, the doorbell rang, and I heard a female voice saying, "Open the door, baby. I'm back. I missed you so much."

Is she his girlfriend? I asked him, "Who is she?"

"She was my ex-girlfriend, and we broke up a while ago. She's been causing some trouble, but I'll change condos soon."

"Aren't you going to open the door?"

"No, she'll leave on her own after a while. You just focus on your studies."

I couldn't help but feel a tinge of jealousy, but I reminded myself that she was his past, and they weren't together anymore.
