The doctor's answer wasn't very certain, and it didn't completely reassure Pai. The doctor said, "It could take around a week before Sky can go home from the hospital." They didn't want to give false hope by making promises they couldn't guarantee.
Pai's worry grew stronger upon hearing this. They couldn't help but express their concern, saying, "Doctor, is everything okay with Sky? I'm really worried about how they're doing."
Finally, understanding Pai's anxiety, the doctor tried to bring some relief. They said, "Thankfully, Sky is no longer in immediate danger. he has overcome the worst part, and now he is safe from any life-threatening situation."
Throughout that difficult week, Pai stayed by Sky's side, offering support and comfort. Pai never left Sky alone, staying with them both during the day and at night. There were moments when Sky's condition worsened, making Pai's worry intensify. It felt like a never-ending struggle, but Pai remained strong, holding onto the hope that Sky would get better.
And then, after going through many ups and downs, Sky's condition started to improve. Pai's heart filled with indescribable joy knowing that Sky was on the road to recovery.
After being discharged from the hospital, Sky stood at the entrance, taking in the fresh air. Turning to Pai, Sky's eyes glistened with heartfelt gratitude. "Thank you for always being by my side," he whispered, his voice filled with deep appreciation and a touch of vulnerability.
"How many times have you thanked me?" Pai asked, a mix of surprise and amusement evident in their tone.
Sky's lips curved into a warm smile, their eyes meeting Pai's with genuine admiration. "You deserve my thanks, again and again," he replied, his voice trembling with emotion. "Your unwavering support has meant more to me than words can express.
A playful spark in Pai's eyes. "But if you want to show your gratitude," he teased, a hint of mischief coloring his voice, "you'll have to give me awards." Sky's laughter filled the air, mingling with relief and affection. They playfully rolled their eyes and responded, "Oh, don't worry, I'll make sure you receive all the recognition you deserve. You have been my hero throughout this journey, and I won't let your efforts go unnoticed."
They walked away from the hospital.
Pai, filled with anticipation, looked up at the sky and asked, "So, where are we going?" The sky responded, "Just wait and watch." Together, they arrived at a grand mansion.
sky announced, "Mom and Dad, I have a surprise for you," and urged pai to enter. At first, Pai's parents couldn't believe their eyes as they saw their long-lost child for the first time in five years. Thinking it might be a dream, they hesitated, but Pai rushed to them and embraced them tightly. Overwhelmed with joy, they hugged him back.
Sky poured their heart out to Pai's parents, recounting the arduous journey they had undertaken.
Pai's parents listened with rapt attention, their hearts aching for their child and the struggles they had endured.
Laughter mixed with tears as they transitioned from discussing difficult times to celebrating their victories. They shared stories, recalling moments of joy and happiness they had experienced together.
The room was filled with love and warmth as they hugged one another tightly, treasuring the precious moments they spent as a family.
