The next day...
Morning...

"Oh, you're awake." Baji said as he saw you awake.

You then heard a growling noise. It was Baji's stomach.

"So hungry. Come on, let's go eat. Mom should be sleeping, so don't worry."

You guys went to go eat breakfast. Unexpected, Baji's mom was there.

"M-mom?!" You guys froze seeing her in the living room. You stood behind Baji looking down.

We got caught!

She had her hands at her hips. "Who's this girl?"

"Uhh, a friend."

"Keisuke, what was this girl doing sleeping in your room?"

I forgot to lock the door! She's going to kill me! "S-she was here for a sleepover."

"Keisuke, don't you lie to me. Tell me the truth NOW!"

Baji just gulped. Should I tell her the truth? "She just needed a place to stay." He said with sweat starting to appear on his face.

"A place to stay? Don't tell me this girl ran away from home. Keisuke, you know her parents must be worried about where she is."

Hearing her say that made you tear up. Worried? They don't care about me. They never did. They both hate me. With these thoughts in your head, you grabbed the back of Baji's shirt. He turned his head to see how upset you were.

"Mom, she has no where to stay, so I told her she can stay here."

"Are you crazy?! You can't just bring a friend here! What's wrong with you?!"

"You don't understand."

"Understand what? That you brought some girl here just because she decided to run away! You know what, I'm calling the cops so they can deal with this girl." She said as she was walking towards the phone.

"Mom, no! You can't call them. They'll take her away to a foster care. She doesn't wanna go there."

Foster care? Is this girls parents dead or something? "It's not up to her whether she wants to go or not. You know we shouldn't get involved in anyone's business."

"Mom, please. Let her stay here."

"Keisuke, I know she's your friend, but I can't just let her stay here. The police will find out and take her away. We can get in trouble for that and you know it."

"Can't you do something? She can't be taken away. She has no one mom. I feel bad leaving her alone."

Baji's mom noticed how Baji kept trying to protest. She knows Baji treasures his friends. She wish she could let you stay, but if they are looking for you, she can't do anything about it.

"Look, I know you care about her, but I can't do anything."

"Can we talk about this in your room?"

She noticed you were looking down the whole time, so she thought this was making you upset. "Fine." She said as she started heading towards her room.

"Y/N, wait here." You nodded and sat on the couch. I'm going to get taken away. I'm going to be alone. I won't have anyone. Tears were rolling down your face as you were scared to be alone.

Meanwhile, Baji had explained everything that happened to you. He didn't want to talk about it in front of you since he didn't want you to remember that day. Baji's mom was shocked. In no way did she think that you had went through all that abuse. She felt terrible. She gave Baji a hug.
