You were making yourself something to eat since Ryoko was still asleep. You were eating alone and decided to go out to clear your head. You went to go change. As you left your room, Baji came out of his room. Not wanting to see him, you quickly left.

Where is she going?

You wanted to go see Draken. You gave him a call to see if he was home. He said he was home, so you went over to his place.

"Y/N, what's wrong?"

"It's Baji-san. I heard what happened. Mikey told me."

"So you know. It shocked everyone when he announced he was leaving Toman. We wanted to talk to him, but his stubborn ass kept ignoring us."

"He's also been ignoring me."

"Seriously, even you?! That fucking idiot!"

"I tried talking to him yesterday, but he told me I was being annoying."

"I swear imma punch him when I see him. How dare he call you annoying! Y/N, you're not annoying at all, so don't listen to that dumbass."

"You don't have to punch him. He was probably mad or something."

"Still, how dare he take it out on you."

"I just want him to tell me what's wrong."

"We all wanna know, but we should let him be for now. I'm sure everything will be fine once we get Baji back."

"I hope so."

"I'm sure we'll figure something out."

"I just don't know what to do. I always feel left out."

"It's for the best. We don't want you to get involved in any of the shit we do. You never know what can happen."

"Yeah, I don't want to think about it."

"By the way, you got any plans for today?"

"No."

"I'm going with Mikey to visit Shinchiro's grave, wanna come?"

"Yeah, I'll go."

Afternoon...

The two of you met up with Mikey at the cemetery. You also saw that Takemichi and Chifuyu joined as well.

"Chifuyu, what happened to you?" You asked the injured boy.

"Oh, it's nothing, just got in a fight."

"But it looks bad. Who did this to you? Was it someone from a gang?"

He scratched the back of his head. "Yeah, just someone from a gang." I can't tell her the truth.

"You should try and be more careful. I don't like seeing you guys hurt."

"Sorry, I'll try and be more careful next time."

You guys stayed there for a while before leaving. You were going to leave with Chifuyu since you guys did live in the same apartment complex.

"Who hurt you?"

"I told you already, some guy from some gang."

"I know you're lying."

"But it's true!"

"Chifuyu, please tell me the truth."

I can't tell her it was Baji-san. "It was someone from Valhalla."

"Valhalla?"

"Yeah, it's this gang that we're gonna fight soon. One of them saw me and jumped me."

You had a feeling he was still keeping something away from you. "Do you know why Baji-san left Toman?"

"No. It was a surprise for me too."

"Really? I thought you would know. You guys are like best friends."

"If you don't know, then I don't either."

"I feel like you're hiding something from me."

"I swear I'm not."

"You sure?"

"I swear."

He will never tell me anything!

Finally, you have arrived at your place and went in. You knew you had to figure out what was going on. Chifuyu had just told you Toman was going to be in a fight. You thought it was weird how Baji left and now all of a sudden there's going to be a fight going on.

I need to know what's going on. Baji-san wouldn't leave Toman just because. Just thinking about it gave you a bad feeling. I have to follow Baji-san.

The next day...

Baji had left, so it was your chance to follow him and find out what's going on with him. At first, it seemed like he was just going for a walk, but then you saw him meet up with Kazutora. You didn't think much of it since they were friends, but as you kept following them, they were heading to the abandoned arcade.

Why is Baji-san here?

You had to wait again since there were guys guarding the place. After some time, Baji came out. You saw him wear the same outfit as Kazutora. Now you were more confused. As he was walking away, you noticed on the side of the jacket there was a tag that read Valhalla.

That's the gang Chifuyu said they were going to fight! Did Baii-san join another gang?! You didn't know what to think. You just stayed there trying to think why he would leave Toman to join another gang.

Did he join because of Kazutora? But what about the others? They're also his friends.

Once he was nowhere in sight, you left. With what you saw, you wanted to go and talk to Draken about it. You were going to head to his place when you saw Chifuyu and Takemichi.

"Y/N? Is something wrong?" Chifuyu asked seeing how you were walking in a hurry.

"Yeah."

"You can tell me if something is wrong."

You looked over at Takemichi. Chifuyu got the hint.

"Don't worry, Takemichi's a trustworthy friend. He won't say anything."

You believed Chifuyu, so you told him about what you saw.

"Oh that, we, um, knew..." Chifuyu said scratching his head.

"What?!"

"Sorry, I didn't want to tell you. I knew you'd react like this, that's why I didn't say anything."

"I knew you were hiding something!" You were mad Chifuyu didn't tell you.

"Sorry, I did it for your own good. You shouldn't get caught up in our mess."

"Wait, so the one who hurt you... was it Baji-san?"

Chifuyu stayed silent.

"So it was him."

"Sorry Y/N."

"How could he do that?"

"We don't know what Baji-san is thinking, but me and Takemichi are going to find out. I just know he has a reason for all of this."

"I just have a bad feeling about all of this."

"Don't worry too much, it won't do you any good."

"How can I not worry?! Baji-san left Toman to join another gang! He beat you up! What's next?!" You raised your voice.

"Y/N, calm down. We'll talk to Baji-san and get him to explain himself."

"He won't say anything to you guys. I tried talking to him, but he keeps ignoring me."

"We'll keep trying, I want to help Baji-san in whatever he's planning. I don't want him doing things on his own."
