The next day...

Baji spent his night planning a date. Now all he had to do was talk to you. He knew you were avoiding him, so he was going to have to try and talk to you. He knew you were awake since he heard noises coming from your room. He took a deep breath and knocked on your door.

"Y/N, I know you're awake, open up."

You panicked. Even if you did tell Draken and the girls you were going to confess to Baji, you still didn't feel ready.

"I just wanna talk."

You went up to your door and unlocked it. You went over to your bed while Baji opened the door.

"I know you're avoiding me, but lets just pretend nothing happened and act like normal."

Pretend like nothing happened?

"You still gonna avoid me?"

You looked up at him. "You're right, nothing happened."

Is she... upset? "Oh, right, I wanted to know if you wanna hang out. It's been a while since we went out."

"Ok."

"We'll leave in an hour, got it?"

"I'll get ready then."

Baji left. You were not sure how you felt with what he said. Now you were thinking of not telling him anything. You got up and got a drink since you were feeling thirsty.

"Y/N-chan, what's wrong? You look upset."

"It's nothing."

"Don't lie to me."

"I wanted to confess, but now I'm not going too."

"What?! Why not?"

"Because he doesn't like me."

"What makes you say that?"

"It feels like he sees me as a friend and nothing else."

"Oh honey, I'm sure that's not true. Sometimes it's hard for someone to show others how they feel. They act like they don't like you when they probably do, so don't think that ok."

"But what if he doesn't like me?"

"Oh I'm positive he likes you. He just has trouble expressing it."

You were confused as to why she was so sure that your crush likes you. You've never told her that you like Baji.

"But how would you know? You don't even know who I like?"

She just gulped. "I don't have to know him. I just know that no boy would ever reject you."

"Oh, ok."

Honestly you didn't believe her, but you didn't want to continue questioning her so you let it be. You finished your drink and was about to leave back to your room.

"Going somewhere?"

"Yeah, Baji-san wanted to hang out."

Ryoko was happy. She knew that Baji was going to take you out on a date.

"Let me help you get dressed." She said excitedly.

You were confused as to why she sounded excited. I mean you were just going to hang out with Baji. It's not nothing new.

The two of you were in your room. You looked through your closet and took out your baggy pants and a sweatshirt.

"No no no. You should wear something nice. The weather is good today, so you should dress more nicely."

She looked through your closet to see what you could wear. You just sat in your bed. She finally picked out an outfit.

"This is perfect!"

She got a black pleated suspender skirt and a white sweatshirt. You went to the bathroom and put it on. You came out and showed her your outfit.

"You look so adorable!"

"Yeah, I really like it."

"Ok now, sit down. I'll do your hair."

You sat in your chair near your desk. You were still confused as to why she's helping you look nice. It's not like you were going on a date. She was done and you went and looked in the mirror. She did two buns with some loose strands on the front.

"It looks good."

"It suits you so well. Now you can finish the rest."

To finish off the look, you added accessories. Once you got done, you went to take a look in the mirror. You fell in love with your look.

I should dress up more.

"Y/N, you ready?" Baji yelled.

You took one last look at yourself before heading out. Baji was waiting by the front door. When you made your way towards the front door, Baji stared at you. He didn't want to look away.

I swear she always looks cute.

"You'd make a cute model!" Ryoko said.

"Thanks."

"Y/N, let's leave."

"Ok."

"Bye, take care and have fun!"

The two of you left and went in Baji's bike. You asked him where you guys were going, but he said it was a surprise. You were excited to see where he would take you. It had been a while since you rode with Baji in his bike. You honestly missed those rides with him. Even if he drove fast, you eventually got used to it. Holding onto his waist felt normal to you. You didn't feel shy at all.

After some time, you guys arrived at this garden. You were surprised he would take you to such a place. The place was beautiful. You guys were walking around admiring the scenery.

"It's pretty." You said.

"Wanna go and ride on a boat?"

"Yeah!"

The two of went over to where the boats were. You guys got on the boat and started sailing in the pond. The leaves from the tree world fall into the pond as you guys sailed by.

"You like it?"

"Yeah, I really like it here."

Once you guys got off the boat, you guys walked around some more. Even though you guys would have small talk, it didn't matter to you guys. You guys enjoyed each other's company and that was enough for the both of you.

"I'm getting hungry."

"I know a good place." Baji led you to this restaurant that was packed.

"There's a lot of people here. Maybe we should go somewhere else."

"Don't worry, I'll make sure we get a table."

You and Baji sat at your table. You were surprised he actually managed to get you guys a table. You didn't know what he did, but you didn't want to ask. You guys ordered and waited. It did take a while for your food to come out since there were a lot of customers.

"This looks good." Baji said as he dug in.

You also started eating. "It tastes good."

The two of you finished your meal and left.

"Let's go, there's somewhere else I wanna take you to."
