You were sleeping since crying made you feel tired. Suddenly, you felt someone shaking you. You opened your eyes to see Baji.

"Wake up. You've had enough sleep."

You rubbed your eyes and sat up. You looked at the time and it was 3:01pm.

"Is something wrong?" Baji asked a bit concerned.

You remembered what happened earlier with Kazutora. Jeez you're annoying. You remembered what he said to you. I was just worried about him. I didn't want to be annoying. Baji noticed you were thinking about something.

"If something is wrong, you can tell me about it."

Should I tell him? What if he also thinks I'm annoying. "I-it's nothing."

"Stop lying. I know something is up. Just tell me."

You were hesitant on telling him. He told me not to tell anyone. You decided to just lie to him. "I want to go back to school, but I'm scared."

A part of you did feel scared going back. What if the other kids found out about what happened to you? You didn't want them to talk about it.

"Don't worry about it. As long as you're with me, there's nothing to be scared of. If anyone bully's you, I'll fuck them up."

You felt a bit better hearing that. Now that you had a friend, you wouldn't feel so alone at school. Even if Baji wasn't in your class, knowing that he would make sure no one would bully you made you feel relieved.

"I'm hungry, did you eat?" You shook your head no. "Let's go out to eat. I just need to change and then we'll head out."

Baji changed out of his uniform. The two of you left. He took you to a local restaurant.

"I really want some yakisoba. What about you, what are you getting?"

You looked at the menu still thinking of what to get. You pointed at a picture. "Miso ramen huh." You nodded. The waiter then came by to take your orders. Baji ordered for the both of you. You guys just waited for your food to come out. After some time, the waiter came with your food. She placed the bowls in front of you and left.

"This smells so good." Baji said as he grabbed his chopsticks and started eating. You guys ate in silence.
Once you guys finished, you headed out.

"Hey, about earlier, why were you upset?"

You just froze. Oh no, was it obvious? "I-it's nothing."

Baji sighed. "Look, it's not that I'm nosy, but I'm just worried you know. If something is wrong, you can tell me. Maybe I can help you."

Why is he always so nice? I feel like I don't deserve it. "Why do you care so much?" You said in a low voice as you stood there. Baji noticed you stop and did the same.

"Cause you're my friend and I will always care about you. I treasure my friends. I don't ever want to see them hurt."

Maybe I can tell him. "Your friend said I was annoying. I-I was just worried about him."

He looked at you confused. He wondered who you were talking about. "Who?"

"K-Kazutora."

"When did he say this? I don't remember him saying anything to you when he came over."

"I-I went out for a walk when he saw me."

"Just ignore him. He's just like that. He doesn't like it when people are in his business. Plus, you're not annoying. Don't let it get to you."

You didn't know Kazutora, so you didn't know how he really is. Unlike Baji, he knows how he is.

"I'm surprised you talked to him. Unlike the others, he's more unapproachable. He doesn't talk to much about himself. So, what were you guys talking about?"

I can't tell him, can I? Maybe he can help? But I don't want to bother him. "H-he was talking about his parents."

Baji was shocked. "Seriously?! Never expected him to talk about his family to anyone. I'm the only one who knows about his family situation. I'm surprised he told you."

"I-I feel bad. I know what he's going through. I-I just wish I could help, but I know I can't."

"He's stubborn. He doesn't want anyone to help him. I would help him if I could, but I know Kazutora wouldn't want that. He wants to deal with this shit alone. At least it's good knowing that you also care. I know you want to help, but just let him be. If he ever needs someone, he knows he got us to count on."

You wish there was something you could do, but hearing what Baji said, you knew you couldn't do anything. You knew Baji would help him if he could, but Kazutora wouldn't want him to get involved.

Nighttime...

Baji was asleep. You weren't tired since you took a nap earlier, so you were watching a movie. You heard the door being unlocked and opened.

"Oh, Y/N-chan, you're still up?" Ryoko said as she took off her shoes. "Why aren't you asleep yet?"

"I'm not tired."

"You know you should be sleeping right now. You need to get some rest." She said as she sat next to you.

"I took a nap, so I'm not tired yet."

"Well, how was your day today? Did anything?"

"I went out for a walk when you left. Then me and Baji-san went out to eat."

"Well that's good."

"Also... I-I want to go back to school."

"Is that so. Well, since you don't have any books or anything, we can go buy the things you need tomorrow. How does that sound?"

"Ok, yeah."

"Great. Now, why don't we head to bed, it's getting late now."

You nodded and you both got up to head to your rooms.

"Goodnight Y/N-chan."

"Goodnight."
