The next day...
Morning...

You woke up a bit early and decided to go eat in the meantime. As you went into the kitchen, you saw Ryoko drinking her coffee.

"You're up early. Did you sleep well?" You nodded. "That's good. Here, I already made breakfast for you guys."

She placed the plate in front of you. Just then, Baji came and sat down in front of you.

"You're up early." Ryoko said to him.

She placed a plate in front of him as well. You can tell Baji was still tired. You guys finished and Baji said you can go change in his room while he waits.

"Keisuke." Baji turned to look at his mom. "I don't want you causing any trouble for Y/N-chan. Make sure you take good care of her, got that?"

"Yeah, I know. I won't let nothing happen to her. If anyone bully's her, then I'll beat them up."

"Keisuke, don't get in trouble. I'm being serious."

"But mom." Baji whined.

Just then you came out the room dressed in your uniform. "Y/N-chan you look so adorable." Ryoko said as she approached you and squeezed your cheeks. You blushed at her action. "T-thank you."

"I'm gonna change now." Baji said as he left to his room. It didn't take long for Baji to get ready. He got out and you guys were ready for school. Baji turned to you. "Ready?" You nodded.

Ryoko handed you guys your lunch and gave you a hug before your guys left. "Take care Y/N-chan. Hope school goes good." You felt Ryoko's warmth as she hugged you. You were getting used to receiving hugs from her.

"I feel like my mom is starting to like you more than me."

"She's really nice."

"Nice?! Yeah right, she's scary."

You guys finally arrived at school. You were nervous to go inside. "Don't worry, I'm here with you." Baji said as he gave you a soft smile. You guys went in and Baji accompanied you to your classroom. As you went inside, you felt eyes on you. You kept looking down as you made your way to your desk.

"She's back."

"Wasn't she at the hospital?"

"I heard her dad got arrested."

"She's an orphan now. Now that's funny."

You kept hearing your classmates whisper about you. You were starting to feel anxious. You wanted to leave.

"If I hear any of you bastards talking about Y/N, I won't hesitate to beat your ass up!" Everyone then went silent hearing Baji threaten them.

"Let me know if anyone talks shit, ok?" He said to you.

You felt a bit better after Baji threatened your classmates. They have went silent when he spoke up.

"Gotta leave now. Bye." He waved at you as he left.

You still avoided eye contact with everyone and just focused on your class. You still felt anxious knowing your classmates were talking about you behind your back. You tried to not think about it.

It was now lunchtime. You went to the rooftop and saw Baji there. You sat down next to him and took your bento box out.

"Did anyone talk shit?" You shook your head no. "Good."

"Me and the guys are hanging out after school, wanna join?"

Hang out with his friends? His friends are nice. Maybe I should go. "Yeah."
