The ride to your next destination was long. So far the day has been amazing and you wished it could last forever. You were enjoying your time with Baji.

Looking over to your right, you saw the view of the ocean. Baji had taken you to the beach. He knew that was the one place you liked. You guys walked along the boardwalk. There were some stalls along the boardwalk. You were looking at some at the things they were selling. You came across this necklace with a moon and star pendant. You thought it looked pretty. Not only that, but it would go well with the bracelet Baji gifted you on your birthday.

"Hello there young girl. Is there something you're interested in?" An old lady asked.

"I'm just looking."

"If you need any help, you can ask me." She said as she gave you a smile.

You nodded. Baji did notice you looking at the necklace.

"You want it?"

"I wish, but I have no money."

"Hey, I want this necklace." Baji said to the old lady.

"Baji-san, what are you doing?!"

"Gettin you the necklace."

"But I don't want you wasting your money on it. I don't need it."

"Which one do you want?" The old lady asked.

Baji pointed at the one you wanted. She took it out of the display case and showed it to him.

"This the one you want, right?" Baji asked you.

"You don't have to get it for me."

"I don't mind. Turn around."

You turned around and Baji put the necklace around your neck. You looked down at the necklace and thought it looked nice.

"Oh, is that for your girlfriend? My how cute of you."

You blushed at what she said while Baji kept his cool. He tried to not let it faze him.

"How much?"

"Well, since it's a gift for your girlfriend, then I won't charge you."

"For real?"

"Yeah, I love seeing young couples. It just brings me happiness."

"Are you sure we don't have to pay you?" You asked.

"I'm sure. I wish you guys nothing but the best." The old lady gave you guys a smile.

You guys left and continued to look around. It was quiet between the two of you.

Do we really look like a couple? You thought to
yourself.

"Wanna head to the carnival over there?" Baji asked.

You nodded and you guys made your way there. Up ahead you saw a crepe stand and went up to it. You and Baji got one for yourselves. It didn't take long for you guys to get your crepes.

"It's so good."

"Lemme taste."

Without warning, Baji took a bite out of your crepe.

"It is good."

Did he really take a bite?! "That's not fair!"

"What? I just wanted a taste."

"That's why you have your own."

"Yeah, but we ordered different kinds."

Why did he have to take a bite out of mine.
