The next day...
Afternoon...

You were getting bored of watching tv as you kept changing the channel. You then came across a cooking show. They were making sugar cookies. This caught your attention as you kept watching.

They look so good! I want to make some.

The ingredients were on the screen and you decided to check in the kitchen to see if you had the ingredients. Lucky for you, you had the ingredients to make your cookies. You got everything you needed and laid them out. You followed the recipe that was on the screen. You have never baked anything before, so you tried your best to not mess up.

Once you made your dough, you shaped them into a ball. You then placed them on the tray and put them inside the oven.

While you were waiting, you cleaned up the mess you made. As you finished cleaning, your cookies were now done. You got a glove and carefully took the tray out.

It smells so good!

You left them on the table to cool down. After some time, the door opened. You turned your head to see who it was and saw Baji. Following behind him was a boy you didn't know.

Wait, it's that boy from the picture.

"It smells good in here. Did you make something?" Baji asked.

"So this is Y/N." The boy said as he took a good look at you.

"Right, this is Kazutora, he's my friend."

"I actually didn't believe you when you said some girl was staying at your place."

"Just shut up." Baji said as he made his way to the kitchen. "You made cookies?!"

You went to the kitchen. "Y-yeah."

"They look good!"

Kazutora then took a look. "Not bad."

"T-thanks."

"Can I try one?" Baji asked as you nodded. He picked up a cookie and took a bite. "Y/N, this tastes so good! I can't believe you made these. Kazutora, you should try one." Baji got a cookie and gave it to Kazutora.

Kazutora took a bite out of the cookie. "Mmm. It does taste good."

You also took one and took a bite. It taste really good! I thought they were going to be bad. You guys just ate the cookies you made and finished them.

"Wow Y/N, I didn't know you can bake."

"T-this is my first time."

"You did really good."

"T-thanks."

"Let's play some video games." Baji said.

You guys went to Baji's room. Baji turned the console on and got the controllers. He handed one to Kazutora. You sat in the chair while Kazutora sat on the bed and Baji sat on the floor. They were playing a shooting game.

"Yes, I got him." Kazutora said.

"He fucking killed me!" Baji yelled.

"Baji, you're in the way. Move!"

"Tch. I'm just trying to kill this bastard."

"We fucking lost because of you!" Kazutora said in an annoyed tone.

"Whatever."

"How about you let Y/N play? Maybe she'll be better than you." Kazutora said as he smirked.

"As if. Y/N, here."

He handed you his controller. This was your second time playing and you weren't that good. You were a bit nervous since you didn't want to lose and make Kazutora mad. The game started and you just stayed focus. Your aim was getting good as you kept playing.

"Y/N, great shot!" Kazutora said.

Baji turned to look at you. He saw how focused you were. Cute. What the hell?! Did I just call her cute?!

"We won!"

"No way! How?!"

"It's because Y/N doesn't suck unlike you."

"Tch. Shut up. I'm thirsty. I'll be back." He said as he got up and left. Now it was just you and Kazutora.

"Ha. He's mad." He then turned to look at you. "Now that it's just the two of us... can I ask you something?"

You nodded as you just looked down at your hands.

"What do you think of Baji?"

What do I think of him? You took a minute to think before answering. "I-I think he's nice."

"Nice, huh." He laid down. "Honestly, I'm glad I met Baji. Thanks to him, I know who my real friends are."

"H-how'd you meet?"

"We met on my birthday. My old friends ditched me and Baji got mad for me. Never expected someone to get mad for me, but I did get to enjoy my birthday thanks to him."

"B-Baji-san really is n-nice."

"Yeah, I guess so." He then sat up. "I wonder why Baji took a liking to you. He never talks to any girls, so I was surprised when he told me some girl was living with him." He looked right at you. "He acts different around you... like he's nicer."

"I-I think he's just l-like that."

"Tell me something. Do you like Baji? And not just as a friend, but more than that."

Why does he want to know? I don't like him like that. "I-I..."

Baji was outside the door as he heard Kazutora ask you that question. Why the fuck is he asking her that? He was about to head in when he heard you say something.

"I-I think he's a good f-friend and I'm glad I met him. I-if he never talked to me, then I-I probably wouldn't be here."

Baji smiled as he heard what you said. He then opened the door and went inside. You freaked out when he came back.

I hope he didn't hear that. That will be embarrassing.

"Let's continue playing." Baji said as he sat down.

An hour has passed before Kazutora had to leave. Time went by and it was already late. You guys were laying down having small talk.

"So, what do you think of Kazutora?"

"H-he's a bit scary looking."

"Yeah, I can see that. Dude looks like he doesn't like anyone, but he's cool and all. I like hanging out with him."

Hopefully I can make friends like Baji-san.
