It was one week before Christmas and you were out shopping with the girls. You still had to buy gifts for everyone. You had saved up money so you can afford to buy gifts.

"I'm so jealous you girls have boyfriends. I'm the only one without a boyfriend." Emma frowned.

"Don't worry, you'll have one soon." Hina said.

"I only want Draken and no one else."

The three of you walked into a store and you tried to find a gift for Ryoko. You saw this necklace with her birthstone. You bought it since you wanted to give her something nice. The three of you separated to go shop for whatever it is you girls had to buy. After you were done, you only had to buy something for Baji. You kept looking through stores, but found nothing.

What should I get him?

"Y/N-chan!" Hina said as she saw you. "You done shopping?"

"No. I still need to buy Baji-san something."

"Hmm. Let's find Emma and see if we can help you out."

The two of you walked around trying to find Emma. You saw her leaving a store, so you and Hina went up to her.

"Are you girls done shopping?" Emma asked.

"Y/N-chan needs to buy a gift for her boyfriend."

"We'll totally help you out!"

You girls went into different stores and you couldn't find anything. The girls would try and help pick something that he might like, but you didn't like anything. You went into this new shop that opened up and had hopes of finding something. You saw this jacket on a mannequin and thought it was perfect for Baji. You knew he'd look great in that jacket. You got the jacket and saw the price. You freaked out seeing the price.

8,000 yen?! I don't have enough money. You only had 4,000 yen left.

"This jacket looks nice." Hina said.

"Are you going to buy him this?" Emma asked.

"I can't. I don't have enough money."

"Well, how much is it?" Hina asked. She checked the price tag. "A little expensive."

"How much do you have?"

"4,000."

Emma took money out her bag. "I can let you borrow some money if you want?"

"It's fine. I'll just find something else."

"But don't you want to buy him this?"

"Yeah, but I can't afford it."

"Emma-chan and I can let you borrow money so you can buy it. It's no problem for us."

"Yeah, don't you wanna get your boyfriend something nice?"

"Are you sure?"

"Of course! Here." Emma said as she gave you some money. Hina did the same. Now you had the money to buy the jacket. "You can pay us back later, no rush."

"Thank you."

"It's what friends are for, right?"

You gave them a smile and went to checkout. You were happy you got him something nice. Now you were done shopping, so you girls were heading home.

Emma stopped in her tracks. "Before we go, let's buy some cake!"

The three of you went inside the bakery. Emma already knew what she wanted, so she went ahead to order. Hina was looking at the different desserts they had. You didn't have any money left, so you didn't bother looking at what they had.

"Aren't you going to get something?" Hina asked you.

"I have no money."

"Girl, you can pick something, I'll pay for the both of us." She said with a smile.

"I don't want you wasting your money on me."

"Think of it as my way of treating you."

You already owed Hina money and you didn't want to add more to what you owed her. You were going to decline her offer.

"It's ok, I don't want anything."

Hina frowned. She decided not say anything and ordered what she wanted. Once she paid, she went up to you and handed you a small container. "I got you your favorite cake. And before you say anything, I got you this because I wanted to, so don't think you owe me for this."

You took the container and gave her a smile. "Thank you." I have such good friends.

Finally, you made it back home. You were tired from shopping all afternoon. You just wanted to take a shower and relax. You had put all the gifts you bought in your closet.

I hope Baji-san likes his gift.

You were now done with your shower. You were craving the cake Hina bought you. You went to the kitchen to grab your slice of cake. In the kitchen, you saw Baji eating something.

"My cake." You said in a low voice as you saw Baji eating your cake.

"You should try this cake, it's so good."

"That was mine."

Baji stopped eating. He has already eaten half of the slice of cake. "Sorry."

You sighed. Hina bought that for me.

Baji approached you. He grabbed a piece of the cake and held the fork out to you.

Is he trying to feed me?! You felt your face get hot.

"Don't be shy."

Slowly, you leaned forward and ate the piece of cake.

"It tastes good, right?"

You nodded. Baji was going to feed you again, but you took the container out of his hand and left to your room.

"I should tease her more, she looks cute when she's shy."

December 19, 2005

You and Baji were at home watching a movie. Baji looked at the time and got up. He went to go change before coming out.

Fuck I don't wanna go. Why can't I just stay and be with Y/N?

"I'm leaving." Baji said as he was heading towards the door. Before he left, he stole a quick kiss from you.

A small tint of pink appeared on your cheeks. "Bye."

Baji has now left and you were alone watching the movie. Now that he left, you didn't feel like finishing the movie, so you turned off the tv. You decided to go to your room and read. You wanted to wait for Baji to come back.

Baji had a meeting with the gang. Baji was the last to arrive at the meeting.

"You're late!" Draken yelled.

Baji ignored him and made his way to Chifuyu.

"Don't fucking ignore me!"

"Man you're annoying. At least I showed up."

"Quiet." Mikey said.

The group was talking about what happened the day before. Takemichi was beaten up by the leader of the Black Dragons. Mitsuya suggested a peace agreement between the Black Dragons and Toman. They agreed to it and left it at that.

"This was a waste of my time." Baji said under his breath.

Baji was the first to leave. He was annoyed that he wasted his time being at the meeting. He was hoping he'd get to fight again.

Arriving home, he went to your room to see if you were awake. You were laying down sleeping with a manga book in your hand. Baji sighed and took the book and placed it on top of your desk. He covered you up in your blanket.

"Goodnight Y/N." He said as he kissed your forehead.
