Birthday Special

Morning...

When you started waking up, you looked outside and saw it was sunny. It was the weekend, so you didn't have school. After getting done with your morning routine, you went into the kitchen. Ryoko was making pancakes.

"Y/N-chan! Happy birthday!" She went up to you and gave you a big hug. "I made some pancakes for you."

"Thank you."

You added syrup to your pancakes and started eating. "It's so good."

"I'm glad you like them."

Ryoko joined you and you guys ate together. Once you guys were done eating, Ryoko went to her room to get your gift.

"Here. I saw you looking at them, so thought you wanted it."

It was a pair of shoes you kept eyeing. You gave her a hug. "You got me the shoes I wanted! Thank you."

You still had time left before you had to go out. To kill time, you just watched tv with Ryoko for a while. Time went by and it was almost time for you to head out. You got up and went to go take a quick shower. Once you were done, you went to your closet and got the clothes you were going to wear. You wore the shoes Ryoko got you and you just felt happy she bought them for you. You took a look in the mirror and you couldn't stop staring at yourself.

I love it!

You quickly left your room not wanting to make the others wait.

"You look so cute as always!"

"Thanks. I'm leaving now."

"Have fun and be safe!"

"I will."

As you left, you saw Draken arriving. You quickly made your way to him.

"You look nice. Also, happy birthday."

"Thanks." You said as you hugged him.

"Ready to go?"

You nodded as you got on his bike. He drove off to where the others were going to be waiting. You were feeling excited.

A week before your birthday, Baji kept on insisting you guys celebrate your birthday. He wouldn't stop bothering you about it. After so much begging, you finally agreed. You've never celebrated your birthday, so you thought it wasn't that important. But now that it was your birthday, you couldn't help but feel excited.

The two of you had arrived at the arcade where you were going to celebrate your birthday. The both of you made your way inside and already saw the others waiting. As you guys got closer to the table, everyone saw you.

"Happy birthday!" Everyone shouted.

You felt a bit embarrassed, but at the same time happy. You finally had friends to celebrate your birthday with you.

"Thank you everyone."

You sat down ready to eat. The food was already there, so you guys didn't have to wait. Everyone started digging in. You did notice Baji wasn't there. You turned to Draken and asked him where Baji was.

"Where's Baji-san?"

"Said he was gonna be late, don't worry about him."

I wonder what he's doing.

Everyone was now finished eating and that's when Baji arrived.

"Seriously, you guys didn't leave anything for me." Baji frowned.

"Your fault for being late." Mikey said.

"Just buy some food if you're that hungry." Pah said.

"Tch. You guys are the worst."
