The return of Ancient magic part three

Y/N POV

I was returning to the castle Friday afternoon after a long training session on the pitch it has been quite a eventful evening, I was told by the captain that I had to wait until the team had scored at least a few points before catching the snitch this was not easy it seemed that the chasers struggled to communicate with each other and would drop the quaffle before someone would eventually catch it before it hit the ground, I had spotted the snitch twice while this happened and got furious as it flew past my ear and I had caught it while the rest of the team had a screaming match down below, I hadn't told the team that I had caught the snitch but was told like the rest of the team that it was time to pulled head in and that we should stop for the day.

I had reached the stair case to the defence against the dark arts tower and watched as the captain of the team turned into the prefects bathroom, as she opened the door I saw it that Familiar light blue glow that would only appear during the Keepers trials or when if I whenever I had stumbled across some Ancient magic however once the door of the bathroom closed the light in the room vanished, I pondered for a moment wondering what to do, then I hurried up the tower towards the old grandfather clock and opened it, entering into the undercroft.

As I descendant the stairs I heard voices i stopped half way down listening "so you know about the ancient magic she's been able to see and you didn't bother to tell me" "well I mean she trusted me not to tell anyone that included you Oninis but she's told you now so-", a sound of braking china echoed through the room "For fuck sakes Sebastian if she's having nightmares about seeing Ancient magic" "GAUNT" as I entered the room both Sebastian and Ominis span round I marched over to them fists clenched "watch out your in trouble" I punched Ominis in the shoulder "Ouch what was that for?" He rubbed his arm "You told him about my dreams?" "why did you tell him about your dreams you seem to tell him everything else" I blushed as looked at Sebastian then quickly away "I explicitly told you not to tell anyone but since the both of you insisted I tell you both everything then I might as well tell you what I just saw" I paused breathing deeply both boys were waiting not moving I looked up at the ceiling and closed my eyes "I know where to find the source of the Ancient magic that has been hidden in the castle" I opened my eyes and looked at them they were expressionless so I continued "there is a bigger source of this magic right underneath the castle" "that's the one you contained right?" Sebastian asked "yes but what I saw was different like a white light the same light I saw during my trails with the Keepers but I don't understand why would a bit of ancient magic be hidden in the prefects bathroom" Ominis raised an eyebrow "so your tell us that you saw a bright light inside a bathroom and you suspect it's this rare magic only you can see?" I frowned at him "I'm not mental if that's what your implying" Ominis shook his head "I never said your mental I'm saying is that it doesn't make a lot of sense" I looked at Sebastian for help but he was rubbing his chin with his forefinger and looking curious "Y/N saw the way out of the highlands when we were looking for pieces of the missing canvas" Ominis folded his arms and sighed "say I believe you can see this ancient magic how come it's give you nightmares now?" I looked at him. The truth was that the nightmares I had been having had start happening the day we returned to Hogwarts the day i fell a asleep on the train I had seen flashes of the orb that was containing the magic that Isadora had created by removing pain from not only her father but her own students I looked at the pensieve across the room and I moved towards it "last year this pensieve showed Sebastian and I what Isadore was going with the ancient magic she could weld" I looked at Sebastian and knew he was thinking the same thing "the Ancient magic that is contained under the castle is well it's people pain" Ominis walked over to me and stopping in front of the Pensieve he touched the surface of its content "so this Witch she was taking peoples pain away and what storing it under the school but" he faced Sebastian who was now staring feeling into my face not moving "Sebastian if what I'm hearing is true Y/N could curse Anne and-" No" Ominis was taken aback for it was Sebastian who had answered firmly "I saw what was in the memory and I know she is capable of welding the same power to take away pain but I will never ask her to use that type of magic on Anne it has all ready been decided I respect her wishes for her not to use this kind of magic it's too dangerous" as he said this he kept his eye on me I blushed and nodded thanking him for his respect towards my decision, Ominis shook his head again as if trying to make sense of it all "now Ominis I would like to speak with Y/N alone if you don't mind" Ominis didn't respond but walked away muttering to himself "fuck it whatever I'm gonna go lie down".

Once Ominis was out of the room Sebastian approached the pensieve and looked into it's clear contents "sorry about him I'm sure he'll make sense of it soon enough I don't think it's that he doesn't believe us I think it's the fact it sounds" "far fetched" I replied, Sebastian looked at me it was the first time in a while since we had been alone together and my ears had started to feel hot "Why didn't you tell me you were having night terrors I mean I know it's none of my business I do care" his face went slight pink and he looked back down at the pensieve "I did want to tell you at first but then they became more frequent and it wasn't just the about the contained magic underneath the school or though it still terrifies me that one day it'll break and terrible things will happen I didn't want that hanging over your head but" I swallowed "some nights I have dreams about.. about" I took a deep breath "about you" Sebastian looked confused "about me? What do mean" he had now turned bright red "well.. now don't get upset I don't have any control over these dreams mind you but just sometimes I see you and we're in the catacomb and" Sebastian moved closer I moved back slowly scared of his reaction "your eyes had that terrifying evil look in them" he was getting closer now and I was still backing away then I felt my back hit the wall, I was cornered "I was trying to stop you to protect you and Anne I didn't mean to upset you I" tears were falling down my face now he stopped moving watching the tear run down my face terror in his eyes.
