The room of requirement part two

Sebastian's POV

The room we had entered was dimly light Y/N walked in closing the door behind her and was all ready walking up the stairs to her left "so this is where you've been hiding last year" I said as I followed her "I wasn't hiding I was practicing spells, completing my assignments and well you'll see in a moment" she put her bag down and was facing what looked a vivarium "eh what's in there?" I asked the room inside was slightly blurred but from what I could see it was dark and foreboding "you'll see" she stepped inside and was swallowed by the darkness "yeah no sure enter the creepy dark room with no exclamation eh let's get this over with" I enter after her.

The room was in clear focus once I entered however what I saw made my stomach turn over, if I had none better I would of thought I had entered the very heart of the forbidden forest but the trees weren't surrounding me and there was a distinct swamp behind the small hill but this wasn't why my heart had stopped suddenly, a tall and black Horst beast with a skeletal look was approaching me, it was a thestral be hide the tall creature a smaller version of itself was coming closer "ah yes that's Anubis don't worry he's completely harmless" the small thestral wondered towards me while it's Guardian walked around me and laid down watching it's foal.

I quickly avoided the small beast and approached Y/N who was looking through the tree in front of her "so what exactly is this place?" She did answer me straight away but had walked over to a clearing up ahead, again my thoughts wondered to the forbidden forest as two pearly white unicorns were galloping passed us towards the murky water "this is where I keep the beasts I rescue from the poachers" she watched as the unicorns splash out of the water and back into the surrounding trees "right and you brought me here because?" Suddenly a sound of braking twigs reached my ears and I prepared myself to see another tall creature, to my surprise the thing that had wondered over was small with big bulging eyes and spindly legs with large flat feet like a frog "there you are" Y/N bent down and beckoned the mooncalf towards her, another sound between the trees and two more mooncalfs appeared one a different colour to its mate white with black patches and a smaller grey one the offspring of the two the baby mooncalf waddled over to its father and blinked at Y/N with those big eyes, she scratched the top of its head as it closed its eyes with joy "good to see you too bubbles" then she took out the book and put it it front of the creatures who looked curious at it blinking as they walked around it "hmm well that's disappointing" she said as the mooncalfs wondered away thinking that the book was obvious food "yeah I'm no magizoologist but pretty sure they can't open books" Y/N pick up the book and stood up disappointed "well at least I'm trying you figure it out then"she pressed the book into my chest and walked away, I looked down at the book thinking but when nothing came to mind I watched Y/N tending to the small thestral who was eating something that was dripping blood out of her hand, as I walked over the small mooncalf bubbles was prancing around in circles trying to catch up with its parents then it hit me "where's the moon in here" I asked looking above me "there it's one we're not technically outside it's just an illusion" I looked down at her as whipped the blood off her hands with her robes " disgusting" she shivered slightly "the room creates the best atmosphere for the beasts I've been protecting the light from this room you can follow it's merely a illusion the room has provided to keep the creatures happy believing they are in the outside world" she then looked at me "why?" I tapped the book "perhaps the mooncalf is a clue to what we need to the symbol of what it can open it" she raised an eyebrow and I continued "yeah I know I think it's stupid too but think about it, mooncalfs are known to dance during a full moon maybe this book will only open during a full moon" at this she began to laugh "a full moon of are you serious oh come off it that's kids stuff ,only opens at the full moon please" she shook her head and still laughing left the room, After jogging after her out of the vivarium "can we at least try? What's the worst thing that could happen" she stopped halfway down the stairs thinking "eh fine but if it doesn't work-" if it doesn't work I'll do all your homework for one week" "two weeks" she smiled "done but if I'm right you have to wear a dress at the death day party" at this she went bright red "fine" she said begrudgingly.
