Lou stayed on the phone with Debbie all night. Hearing her falling asleep. While Lou was just listening to the brunette calming breathing. Anxious Lou knew now that Hawaii was the baddest idea she'd ever had; Yes, spending holidays with friends would sure be so cool. But with Debbie. How would she do ? Because for the love of god, she was madly in love with Debbie. And she knew it would just be a torture to see her, watch her, be with her for a whole week. And what about when she will see Debbie in bathing suit. How would she fucking be able to keep her hands in her pants. She wanted to kiss her, to make love with her, to fuck her, to tell her she was madly in love with her. Lou had no idea how she would do that. This week would simply be a fucking bittersweet torture. Due to Lou knew she couldn't confess. Debbie was finally stable in their friendship. It was easy and sweet. And hurting Debbie again was the least she wanted. It was way too soon. It has been two months since they were friends, and Lou couldn't ruin it by scaring Debbie away. Even thought she deeply loved her. She had to give her time and space.

And there she was, looking fabulous even in gray sweatpants and a white shirt. Rolling her suitcase behind her. As she noticed Lou, she waved her hand. Lou couldn't help but smile.
"Hey, Miller... How are you so fancy ? You know we're about to take the plane, right ?"
"Hey, Deb. This isn't fancy, this is a jean and a fucking shirt."
"Whatever, you look nice."
"Thanks Deb."
"So...where are the others ?"
"Can you believe you're the last one to arrive. They're all at Starbucks, I thought I'll come to meet you."
"No way, I'm the last one?"
Lou nodded.
"Well, let's meet everybody, then." Lou couldn't help but feel a jolt of electricity shoot through her as Debbie casually placed her hand on her shoulder. Her heart skipped a beat, and a rush of heat surged through her veins. She swallowed hard, trying to suppress the wave of desire that washed over her.
"Please don't do that, Debbie," Lou whispered to herself, her voice barely audible. She fought to maintain her composure, reminding herself of the importance of self-control during this trip. The last thing she wanted was to jeopardize their friendship with her overwhelming feelings.
Debbie, unaware of the effect she had on Lou, flashed a bright smile and started walking towards Starbucks. Lou followed closely behind, her mind swirling with anxiety. She had to remind herself that this trip was about friendship, fun, and creating memories together.
As they entered Starbucks, Lou's eyes scanned the room, spotting their friends gathered around a table. Constance waved them over, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Lou greeted everyone with a smile, trying her best to appear composed and unaffected.
The group settled down, sipping on their coffees and engaging in lively conversation. Lou found herself drawn to Debbie, her gaze involuntarily lingering on the brunette's features. She admired the way Debbie's eyes sparkled when she laughed and the way her lips curved into a smile that could light up a room.
Lou's inner struggle continued, torn between the desire to hold Debbie close and the fear of crossing boundaries. She knew she had to find a balance, to cherish their friendship while taming the wild flames of her own desire.
Throughout the gathering, Lou did her best to be present, engaging in the conversations and laughter that filled the air. She allowed herself to soak in the joy of being surrounded by cherished friends, even as her heart yearned for something more.
