As the soft glow of the bedside lamp cast a warm ambiance in the room, Lou watched Debbie from the bed. She admired the way the light played upon her features, illuminating her as she sat on the dressing table, delicately removing her makeup.

Debbie's face was relaxed, her expression focused yet serene. Her fingertips moved with gentle precision, removing traces of the day and revealing the natural beauty that lay beneath. Lou couldn't help but appreciate the sight, the way Debbie's features seemed to glow with a soft radiance, enhanced by the lingering affection between them.

The rhythmic motion of Debbie's hand, sweeping across her skin, carried a sense of tranquility. Her eyes met Lou's in the reflection of the mirror, a tender smile playing on her lips.

As Debbie finished removing her makeup, she turned to face the mirror, only to be surprised by Lou's arms encircling her from behind. Lou's touch was gentle yet possessive, drawing Debbie into an intimate embrace. The warmth of Lou's body pressed against her back, creating a comforting cocoon of affection. The brunette leaned into the embrace, her head resting against Lou's chest. She could feel the steady rhythm of Lou's heartbeat, a comforting reminder of their connection. Lou's arms tightened around her, offering a sense of security and solace.

The world outside their shared embrace faded away. Debbie closed her eyes, savoring the closeness and familiarity of Lou's presence. Lou's lips brushed against Debbie's neck, leaving a trail of delicate kisses that elicited a shiver of pleasure.

"Don't..." whispered Debbie.

Lou immediately pulled back. " Sorry " she whispered, clearly disappointed, before sitting on the bed.

Lou's disappointment was palpable, and Debbie knew it. The blonde's gaze remained fixed on her. Debbie hesitated, her fingers nervously tracing the edge of the dressing table. She never liked when unspoken words were lying in the air.

Lou's voice broke the silence, filled with concern and vulnerability. "Is there something wrong?"

Debbie hesitated, her gaze fixed on her reflection in the mirror. "No, Lou," she replied softly.

Lou's eyes searched Debbie's face, trying to read the emotions hidden behind her words. "Then why? Why don't you let me kiss you? Why don't you kiss me?"

Debbie's fingers continued their restless movement along the edge of the dressing table, her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know what you're talking about."

Lou's brows furrowed, sensing that there was more to Debbie's reluctance than she was willing to admit. "You blame me for being jealous, but you've been a little bit distant this month, so... Are you sure there's nothing wrong?"

Debbie's eyes met Lou's in the reflection, her own gaze reflecting incertitude. "Yes, I'm sure."

Lou's voice softened, her concern deepening. "Is it because you're not in the mood, or because I don't attract you anymore?"

Debbie's breath caught in her throat at the words, her heart aching at the thought that Lou could doubt her feelings. She turned to face Lou, her eyes filled with determination. "Come on, you know it's not true..."

Lou's brows furrowed, her eyes searching Debbie's face for answers. "Then what is it, Debbie?"

Debbie hesitated, her fingers tracing the edge of the dressing table. "I told you it's nothing," she replied, her voice tinged with frustration.
