Lou walked into the café. She had arranged to meet Daphne to address the situation and gain a better understanding of her feelings. Spotting Daphne at a corner table, she approached with  apprehension and determination.

Daphne looked up, Lou could see how nervous she was. "Hi" she said, her voice tinged with a hint of hesitation.

Lou took a seat across from Daphne, her gaze steady. "Hi... So we need to talk."

Daphne nodded, her fingers fidgeting with the edge of her coffee cup. "Yeah. Would you like something to drink."

"Yeah, a coffee, but I don't have much time; I'm meeting Debbie for launch."

Daphne rolled her eyes. "Yeah, off course."

Lou observed Daphne's response, sensing the frustration and tension in her words. She took a deep breath, determined to steer the conversation in a constructive direction. "Look, I understand that you might be upset or hurt, but ... God, I don't know what to say... " Lou sighted, "Look, Debbie told me about the fight. Do you wanna explain the situation from your point of view ?"

Daphne hesitated for a moment, her eyes searching Lou's face. She took a deep breath and began. "I... I guess it all started when I realized that I had developed feelings for you. It took me by surprise, and I didn't know how to handle it. I tried to push those feelings aside, knowing that you and Debbie were together and that it wasn't fair to interfere."

Lou listened attentively, nodding to encourage Daphne to continue.

"But then, I noticed the arguments between you and Debbie about moving in together. I saw you both struggling, and I couldn't help but wonder if there was a chance for us. I started to imagine what it would be like if we were together... "I thought I had a chance. Maybe."

"Well.. "You hurt Debbie."

Daphne sighed, her shoulders slumping slightly. "I know, Lou. It's just... Do you not feel the same way ?"

"No, I don't, Daphne."

"Is this about Debbie ? Like if Debbie wasn't in the picture... Would I have a chance ?"

"But Daph.. Debbie is in the picture, and I love her."

"Yeah... But do you feel something for me? Just a tiny bit of feeling?"

Lou furrowed her brows, feeling a mix of frustration and discomfort. She leaned back slightly, trying to maintain her resolve. "No, I don't."

"Are you sure ?"

Lou's eyes flickered with surprise as she felt Daphne's foot gently pressing against hers. She instinctively withdrew her foot, trying to regain her composure.

"Daphne, please," Lou said firmly, her voice tinged with a mixture of unease and determination.

"See, you're blushing." A smile appeared on Daphne's face as she looked at her, full of desire. "Just one kiss. One moment between us. Can't you see what we could have if you'd let yourself feel it?"

"What ? No... What the fuck is this? I thought we were here to have a conversation..."

Daphne sighed and her expression shifted to pain. "Yeah, but there is something I would like to confess to you, and this place is not private enough. Could we go to the bathroom ? I... I just think I'm going to cry and I don't want to do it in front of everyone."

Lou's eyebrows furrowed in a mix of confusion and concern. She could sense the intensity of Daphne's emotions and felt a pang of sympathy. "Okay," Lou replied softly, her voice filled with empathy. "Let's go to the bathroom. We can have our conversation there."
