Lou and Debbie were in bed. Debbie's head rested on Lou's shoulder.
"So, what are we going to do about Daphne?" asked Lou.
Debbie sighed softly, snuggling closer to Lou's warm embrace. "I don't want to talk about it."
Lou gently caressed Debbie's hair." Well, I want to talk about it."
The brunette ignored Lou and started kissing her arms. "I didn't get my birthday sex..."
She then turned to face Lou and kissed her neck. " I want my birthday sex."
Lou gently pushed her, "No way. You'll have your birthday sex when we have a conversation about what happened yesterday."
"There's nothing to say."
"Of course, there's something to say."
"Okay, then what ?" questioned Debbie, her arms across her chest.
Lou took a deep breath, maintaining a calm and patient demeanor despite the playful advances from Debbie. She looked into Debbie's eyes, her own gaze steady and determined.
"Well, you need to tell me what she told you, how you felt."
Debbie rolled her eyes. "You know what she told me, she's in love with you."
"Yeah, but what else ?"
Debbie sighed, realizing that Lou would not stop until she got more details about the conversation with Daphne.
"She said that she felt a strong connection with you. That we were fighting, that I wasn't making you happy..."
Lou's brows furrowed as she listened. "What ?"
"She's thinking she has a chance with you."
Lou didn't answer.
"Does she ?" Debbie looked at Lou with a somber look.
Lou took a deep breath, her gaze meeting Debbie's with a sense of resolve. "Daphne may have developed feelings for me, but my heart belongs to you."
"Do you have any feelings for her? Do you feel this "connection"?"
"Of course not. I don't have feelings for her."
"But do you feel a connection ?" asked Debbie.
Lou's face turned serious as she recognized the anger in Debbie's voice.
"No." Lou replied firmly, her voice steady. "I don't feel a connection..."
Debbie's eyes narrowed, her frustration palpable. "Then why did she say that? Why does she believe she has a chance with you?"
Lou's brows furrowed, and her voice was tinged with a mix of frustration and concern. "I can't answer that, Debbie. I can't control what Daphne believes or how she interprets things. ."
Debbie crossed her arms. "Well, she seems to think otherwise... Why the hell would you tell her that we were arguing about moving together ?"
Lou's frustration grew, and her defensive stance became more apparent. "Because it's true, and I didn't tell her that to encourage her feelings, Debbie. It was an honest conversation about what we were facing. I was talking to a friend."
Debbie's eyes narrowed. "Yeah, we were arguing about where to move, not if we should move."
Lou's voice rose in exasperation. "That's not fair, Debbie! I didn't think she would twist my words like that. I didn't mean for any of this to happen."
Debbie shook her head. "Well, it did happen. And now I have to deal with the consequences of your poor judgment."
"Oh my god, how is this my fault ? Why are you angry at me ? You know what ? This is so typical. It's not because you are angry and jealous that I should deal with it, you can't blame me for that. "
"I can't do this right now," Debbie said. "I need some space."
Debbie stood up and started walk out of the room.
"I swear to God, Debbie, if you leave this room like that, I'm going to kill you."
"Well, watch me." Answered the brunette. Her hand on the door.
"Deborah Ocean, don't walk away like this."
Debbie turned to face Lou, her eyes filled with defiance. "What do you want me to do, Lou? Stay here and continue arguing? We're not getting anywhere like this."
"No, see, this is your thing. You don't get to decide that this is a fight. And you know what ? This is exactly what Daphne wants."
Debbie paused. "Oh, because you know her so damn well."
Lou let out a sigh. "Alright, shut up. "
Debbie exhaled sharply. "Fine."
They looked at eachothers for a minutes without saying anything. Eventually Debbie calmed down because she knew she was overeacting . And it was not Lou's fault.
"So, the situation is, Daphne is in love with me, I don't give a fuck. She thinks she has a chance with me. She doesn't. You're jealous and annoying. And you don't have to because I'm not going anywhere." Explained Lou with a calm voice.
Debbie came back to the bed and sat.
"I'm annoying ?" She asked with a child face.
"Yeah. A lot." Answered Lou with a bit of a smrk.
Debbie's eyes widened, a mix of surprise and amusement crossing her face. She chuckled softly, shaking her head. "Well, I guess I can't argue with that."
Lou leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to Debbie's lips. "But you're my annoying mess, and I wouldn't have it any other way."
Debbie smiled, her heart-warming at Lou's words. "I love you, even if I'm a mess."
Lou grinned, her eyes sparkling with affection. "And I love you, even if you drive me crazy sometimes." She kissed her again. "I'll talk to Daphne and let her know that I'm in love with you and that I don't feel this way about her."
Debbie nodded.
"Now... about this birthday sex." Whispered Lou in her ear.
"What about it ?" Debbie turned to face Lou.
Debbie's heart raced as she felt Lou's warm breath tickle her earlobe. She couldn't help but be captivated by the mischievous gleam in Lou's eyes.
"Well," Lou began, her voice laced with a teasing tone. She guided Debbie to sit on her lap, their bodies pressed closely together.
The sensation of Lou's strong arms wrapped around her waist sent shivers of delight down Debbie's spine. She could feel the steady rise and fall of Lou's chest against her.
Lou's hands explored Debbie's body with a delicate touch, tracing the curves of her hips and running along the contours of her back.
Their lips found each other's in a fiery kiss, the taste and warmth mingling in a passionate dance. Their tongues danced together.
Debbie's fingers entwined in Lou's hair, pulling her closer, deepening their connection. The subtle play of lips and tongues intensified.

Guys, we have a problem. I don't have the motivation to write a long chapter. So is it okay if I just post little chapters until I find the time and the inspiration to do more ?
