As Lou waited anxiously, she watched Claude and Danny finally leaving the hotel room. Her heart raced as she knew it was her chance to talk to Debbie privately.

Taking a deep breath to steady her nerves, she approached the door and hesitated for a moment before knocking softly.

After a few moments, the door opened, and there stood Debbie, looking surprised to see Lou there.

"Hi," Lou said, trying to contain her anger. "Can we talk?"

Debbie hesitated for a moment before nodding and stepping aside, inviting Lou into the room. Lou took a deep breath as she entered, the air heavy with tension and unspoken words.

Inside the hotel room, the atmosphere was thick as Lou and Debbie faced each other. Lou struggled to contain her anger and hurt, but she knew she needed to address the situation head-on.

"Why didn't you tell me, Debbie? Why didn't you tell me you have a daughter ?"

"It's complicated."

"Complicated? We were together for a year, everything was fine, and you left without a word. You disappeared, and now, I find out you have a child?"

" I don't know what to say."

"How about a explanation ?"

"I thought it wasn't right for us."

"For us? There was no 'us' when you left. You didn't think about us then, and you don't think about us now."

"That's not true, life got complicated, and I thought I was doing what was best for both of us."

"Best for both of us? How can you say that? You left me, and you didn't even have the decency to tell me why. And now, you have a child, and I'm just finding out about it? Four fucking years later. Explain to me !"

"Lou.."

"I will not leave this room until you tell me the whole story."

"I don't owe you anything."

"Yes, you do. And if you don't tell me, I'll go tell Claude where you were last night, moaning your ex's name, fucking her, and loving her."

"I don't know what you're talking about."

The look on Debbie's face was stick and stone, she was looking at Lou like she didn't even know her, it was terrifying. Lou felt like she didn't know Debbie anymore.

"Are you fucking kidding me ?"

"Leave Lou."

"No way, I'm not leaving, you think you can come back into my life like that ? Fuck me ? And leave me again without any explanation ?"

"We are not together."

"Oh god, I know that" Lou sighed; she couldn't believe Debbie was acting like that. "Why are you doing this? What is fucking wrong with you?"

"Just Leave Lou !"

The stillness of Debbie's face made Lou almost doubt what happened last night.

"Show me your neck."

"No !"

"Debbie, you can't lie in my face about what happened last night when you were the one who initiated it."

"Fine... We had sex; are you happy ? But it doesn't mean anything, people have sex all the time, it's a thing adults do."

This answer broke Lou's heart as much as it ignited a fire of anger in her body.

"Wow, people do change, never thought you, of all people, would become such a bitch."

"Yeah, well, you're right, people change, never thought you of all people would be such an easy fool."
