Debbie's eyes fluttered open, her senses gradually awakening to the soft morning light that filtered through the room. As her gaze adjusted to the surroundings, she found herself met with a sight that filled her heart with warmth and contentment. Lou was lying on her, her head nestled against her chest, her soft breaths creating a gentle rhythm. Her mouth was just above her breath. Just as if Lou fell asleep kissing her. Their legs were crossed, and both of Lou's arms were hugging her.
Debbie's fingers brushed against Lou's hair, her touch light and affectionate. She marveled at the peaceful expression on Lou's face and the way her lips curled into a serene smile even in sleep. It was a sight that made Debbie's heart swell with emotion. Seeing Lou like that hurt her a little, because she knew how much Lou missed her. How much pain she caused to the blonde. The way Lou's arms were tightened around her showed how much the blonde was afraid of Debbie leaving her again.
The brunette shifted slightly, her fingers tracing gentle circles on Lou's back as she pressed a soft kiss to the top of her head once more. The gesture was filled with all the words she couldn't quite articulate, a silent pledge to be there for Lou, to cherish and protect what they were rebuilding together.
Lou's arms remained around Debbie, holding her as if afraid that she might slip away. But at this moment, Debbie had no intention of going anywhere.
After a few minutes, Lou's eyes slowly blinked open, the sleepiness giving way to awareness as her gaze focused on the sight before her. And then, a bright, almost mischievous smile broke across her face, chasing away any lingering traces of sleep. The corners of Lou's lips curled upward, her gaze dancing with delight and amusement. She couldn't help but feel a sense of childlike delight at the realization that she was holding a completely naked Debbie in her arms.
Debbie's eyes met Lou's playful gaze, and a soft chuckle escaped her lips. She shifted a little, their bodies adjusting against each other in a way that felt so natural and unguarded. There was no need for pretenses or walls between them now, just a raw and genuine connection that had survived time and mistakes.
Lou's fingers traced a gentle pattern along Debbie's back, her touch a silent affirmation of the affection she felt.
Debbie leaned in, her lips brushing against Lou's forehead in a tender, lingering kiss. "Good morning."
Lou's smile softened as she leaned into the kiss, the touch of Debbie's lips against her skin sending a shiver down her spine. "Good morning, baby... Did you sleep well?"
Debbie's lips curled into a playful smile as she met Lou's gaze. "No, not really," she responded with a teasing glint in her eyes. "You were lying on me all night, practically numbing my body."
Lou chuckled softly, her fingers tracing gentle circles on Debbie's back. "Oh, sorry," she replied, feigning innocence. "I guess next time I'll sleep on the couch then."
Debbie rolled her eyes playfully. "Oh yes, it would definitely be better."
Lou's grin widened, and she pulled Debbie a little closer, their bodies still pressed against each other. "Won't you miss me ?"
"Mmm...I don't know." She replied, her fingers tracing lazy patterns on Lou's arm.
Lou leaned in, her lips brushing against Debbie's cheek in a soft, affectionate kiss. "Well, I would miss you."
"I would miss you too. She shifted slightly, her lips finding Lou's in a tender kiss.
"So, what are our plans for the day?"
Debbie's lips curled into a thoughtful smile as she sat beside Lou. "Well...we could either go pick up Danny and spend the day with her...or we could just spend the day together"
