AVERY SAT AT HER DESK AT THE SALVATORE BOARDING SCHOOL, WHILST HOPE COUNTED THEIR MONEY. The girl thought that Hope's idea was stupid to begin with, but when she considered the possibility that it could actually work, Avery was more than okay with helping. The girls had been at the Salvatore School for seven years. They were known at Avery Evans and Hope Marshall, for their safety. And, whilst Avery was making friends, Hope was somewhat of a recluse. The only thing Hope was interested in, was their plan.
"Please, tell me you told Henry to be quiet about this?" Avery raised an eyebrow toward Hope. She knew that Henry had a tendency to blab, and considering Hope had just sold the werewolf her blood, him telling on them was the last thing they needed.
"I told him to be discrete." The Mikaelson countered.
"Right. So, not quiet, then. I mean, let's be honest, when he wakes up in transition, they're gonna know what went down anyway." Avery rolled her eyes. Hope's scheme to sell her blood to Henry was one of their more stupid ideas.
"You wanted the money, right? It'll be worth it in the end. What's the worst they can do?" A knocking at Avery's door caused their conversation to cease whilst Hope scrambled to hide their stack of money.
Once the money was more than out of sight, Avery looked up to the door. "Come in." As the door opened, it was their teacher, Dorian Williams. "Mr. Williams, is there a problem?"
"Mr. Saltzman wants to see you both. It's about Henry Benoit."
"Is, um— is Mr. Saltzman calling our Moms?" Hope asked in a timid tone of voice, completely the opposite of how she was talking to Avery.
"That. And, he thinks your Dads should know what you've been up to." Dorian told them with a stern look whilst his hands made their way to his hips.
"Right. Well, Hope's is god-knows where and mine doesn't even remember me, so." Avery bitterly trailed off as Dorian pushed the door open a little further.
"Pack your bags, girls. You're going home."

"Okay, guys!" Poppy hurried over to the group that gathered around the table at Rousseau's. "If these don't prep your liver for Mardi Gras, then nothing will."
"Eh. My liver was probably dead before I became a vampire, but thanks, Poppy." Josh quipped as he watched the woman place their drinks onto the table, then stroll away.
"Okay, so we should probably get back to Mardi Gras prep." Vincent told the five that gathered around the table.
"Oh, come on, Vincent. Wow got this, alright?" Josh told the witch with a pointed look. "It's gone off without a hitch for, what? Seven years now?"
