After weeks of pleading and negotiation, Enhypen finally received a week off from their idol activities. Everyone was absolutely pouring with energy and excitement, a week's break was long overdue. Most members weren't sure how to spend it, some knew the second they were told. After a while, they sat down and fleshed out their plan for the break, they would go to a waterpark together for two days, then go spend the rest with family. Even though Ni-ki couldn't visit family with only having 5 days to get back and forth and no time to book a flight, he was past excited about the water park.

Soon before he knew it, all of the members were packing their stuff for the waterpark, since they'd be staying at a hotel just next to it they wouldn't have much trouble with things. "I've needed this," Ni-ki thought to himself, smiling. He knew he would need to find something to let up on his stress as of recently, he's been tired and really self-conscious about nearly everything he does, the last time he felt even slightly at ease was his and Heeseung's badminton live stream from the practice room. 

Ni-ki found himself finished packing, and with nothing else to do, he took a nap, which confused most due to the adrenaline rush he had been having 4 minutes ago. About an hour later, the members were waking him up to leave, they still had to get to the hotel before anything else. Soon the 7 were in the car, an hour ahead of them, the whole ride was mostly spent terrorizing one another. Random singing, threatening to throw someone out of the window, discussing other group's comebacks, the usual. "RUN AWAY RUN AWAY RUN AWAY WITH ME," the group sang together out of boredom, the car ride was slowly driving everyone insane, minus Heeseung and Jungwon who were somehow asleep in the back of the car.

Eventually, they pulled into the lobby and follow Jungwon into the hotel, him being the one who booked it. They hurriedly went to their rooms to change and head to the waterpark, Ni-ki was practically running. Before anyone knew it, they were already in the waterpark and headed towards a pool. Everyone had fun, messing around, joking, and just all around enjoying themselves. Ni-ki was so glad they had chosen to do this, it made him feel way more relaxed than he had in a long while. At the moment, they were playing pool volleyball and also yelling at one another cause no one truly knew the rules. Ni-ki's team was in the lead and Heeseung's team was losing pretty badly. 

"If it goes past the 5-foot end then it's out of bounds!" Ni-ki yelled, finally coming to the official out-of-bounds rule. The rest of the members agreed as they continued playing, Heeseung's team still not catching up. As the ball soared through the air, Sunoo hit it, sending it to the 13-foot(4 meters deep) area. (The pool is 5ft then a slow descent into 13ft, aka the one at band camp-). "Damnit!" Sunoo yelled, aggravated. Ni-ki began swimming over to the ball to retrieve it. As he swam he felt uneasy, 13 feet was pretty deep. Soon, he grabbed the ball and began to swim back, however, the ball slipped from his grasp as he plunged down into the water.

Ni-ki began to freak out as he sunk down, further and further. His body tensed as he tried to swim up, but to no avail, he got nowhere. He held his breath as long as he could, but his lungs soon let water invade them as he felt in so much pain, Ni-ki could see the faint silhouette of some of his members before his consciousness was lost and he felt his back hit the cold concrete.

After 5 seconds, the members began swimming over to the 13 ft end as quickly as they could, Ni-ki still hadn't come back up. Everyone was freaking out as they could see Ni-ki slowly sinking from their positions. Sunghoon dived down under the water to try and get him, and luckily he had been able to bring him back to the surface. Jungwon had already gotten out of the water and was calling an ambulance. They put Ni-ki on the side of the pool and began CPR in a panic. The paramedics took him and began doing things in the ambulance, Enhypen couldn't see them.

All of Enhypen's heads turned when they heard coughing and ran to the side of the ambulance. Ni-ki was alive and breathing. The members felt relieved as they now knew their Maknae had survived. Eventually, they all went back to the hotel and stayed in Ni-ki's room, mostly just babying him the whole time. They chose to go on home instead of a second day at the pool, which most of the members were pretty ok with. The members stayed an extra day just babying Ni-ki and making sure he was 100% ok. But after that, the members tried to stay away from deeper waters in hopes of nothing like that happening again. 

Ok so like I know this is rather bad, but I'm tired and dreading writing the Sunoo trauma chapter cause I know it's gonna be a really long chapter lol. Not really dread but I just know it's gonna take a while to do so I apologize if it takes a little while. I love you all, have a great day/night!!
