Perfect ~ Jungwon🥀🌸

Every person has flaws, no human is perfect, however, Jungwon often forgot this fact, as he was a perfectionist. He cared a lot about his fellow ENHYPEN members and tried his best for them and the fans, however, there are a lot of times when he doesn't feel as good as he may act. Just as he was today, the recording session was going bumpy as most of the members were having a bad day and no one's voice seemed to want to cooperate that morning. 

Sunoo walked out of the recording room with his head held low, as Jay followed into the dreaded room. Most of the other members had already left as it was now just Sunoo and Jungwon. The poor blonde sat down beside Jungwon and laid his head down on the younger's shoulder. Jungwon wrapped his arms around him as the small boy began crying. "What's wrong Hyung?" Jungwon said, calmly. "Why is our vocal coach so mean? Why does she have to yell so much? I tried as much as I could! My voice wouldn't get the notes high enough! I don't know why though..." Sunoo began as Jungwon silently listened. 

The two boys stayed like that for about 10 minutes, Jungwon reassuring Sunoo every little bit. Not long after, Jay reentered the room, a saddened expression on his face. Jay noticed the scene and took Jungwon's place so he could go and record. The leader nervously entered the recording room, "Warm up and be quick about it. We're going to need to reschedule a date for this so we can actually get some alright recordings. I need it sorted out in two days, tell me the date you can do it as soon as possible. Talk to your manager or directors if you need to because this is important," the vocal coach said in an agitated tone.

Jungwon politely complied as he warmed up his vocal cords before beginning. His recordings went about the same as everyone else's, not well. "Ugh! Why do all of you suck at singing!? The next recording session better be a million times better or I'm getting you all disbanded! Do I make myself clear?" she shouted as Jungwon. "Yes ma'am," he said bowing, holding back tears. "Get out of my sight, any mention of your group might set me off at this point," she said sinking back into her chair. Jungwon hurriedly left, the outside was empty. Jungwon sat himself down in the chairs around the door, and left his head in his hands, heaving a heavy sigh.

Jungwon sat and thought about the unproductive day, no one had done well, and the vocal coach wasn't much of a help either. He stayed there for about 10 minutes before deciding to head back to the dorms. He walked slowly before approaching the door, quietly twisting the knob on the door. Heeseung and Sunoo were cooking dinner, the rest of the members somewhere else in the dorms. "Hey Jungwon," Heeseung said as he looked up from what he was cutting. "Hey Hyung," Jungwon said calmly before walking off to his room. Where he found Ni-ki sitting quietly, staring at the wall. "Are you ok Ni-ki?"

Ni-ki turned around to see Jungwon standing in the door frame, the light from the hallway shining into the dimly lit room. He was silent for a moment until he let out a small sigh. "I don't know, today was bad, and I'm exhausted," the younger said quietly. "Yeah, the day wasn't exactly great, but we can make it better tomorrow," Jungwon said in a hopeful manner after putting his stuff on his bed and walking to Ni-ki. "I hope so," Ni-ki whispered as Jungwon engulfed him in a hug. They stayed put like that until interrupted by Jake, "Your turn with the shower Ni-ki!" he yelled from down the hallway. "Ok Hyung!"

After Ni-ki left, Jungwon sat on his bed, lost in his thoughts. His mind was rambled with things to do, how the members were, and other things. He then got up and headed to Jake's room. Knocking on the door softly, he was soon met with the face of a wet-haired Jake. "Hey Jungwon," Jake said with a small smile. "I just wanted to check up on you since today wasn't a good day for anyone," Jungwon smiled at his words. "Ehhh, I could be better, but I appreciate you checking up on me. I'm just tired and ready to go to bed," Jake said, reflecting on the day. "Ok, you can talk to me if you need anything," Jungwon said before leaving Jake in peace before heading to the kitchen.
