"This world is a null void of hatred and sadness, but at least I have my own world."

⚠️TW: Super sad, implications of suicide⚠️

The dorm was quiet, aside from the quiet buzz of the paused TV. Jungwon sat on the floor, looking at all of his members asleep on the couch. The earlier celebration for winning an award had exhausted them. Jungwon gave a light smile, grateful. He stood up and walked to the window, looking out at Seoul. The night was oddly quiet compared to the normal volume of the city. The stars were just visible enough to see, and Jungwon smiled at them. He always loved the stars. The moon accompanied the TV in lighting the room. Small amounts of light trickled through the window, just enough to illuminate every member of the boyband.

Jungwon looked behind him at the asleep members. He felt his heart stir, and a sense of comfort and happiness washed over him. These were his brothers, his best friends, his support, his lifeline, his reason to be alive. He looked at each of them, thinking about all they'd done for him. He felt like they helped raise him, debuting at sixteen wasn't easy, and they helped him deal with the stress of it all. Immediately being plopped into the leader position of an already popular group with high expectations and standards from I-land is terrifying for anyone, even worse for a teen. He rubbed his eyes, feeling his eyebags, he hadn't slept well the past few nights, this night being his first enjoyable one.

His gaze moved to the eldest, Heeseung. Their eldest would've been their leader if he had wanted to, even with that being said, Heeseung still tried to help the younger settle into the role of leader. Heeseung had helped take care of him when he was sick, sometimes cooking ramyeon for him or simply staying to keep him company. He giggled to himself, thinking of all the funny memories and times they made Heeseung attempt to answer questions while live in America instead of him.

Looking at Jay, he smiled. Jay was one of his closest friends. It felt like he had experienced nearly everything with Jay. The older could always find a way to make Jungwon feel better, no matter the situation. He thought about all of the fun I-land memories, the jokes from the Tayo promotions, everything came to mind. He thought about all the times Jay didn't have to forgive him for messing up or getting upset. Jay didn't have to, but he always did. Jungwon felt a few tears prick the edges of his cat-like eyes as he looked at Sunghoon.

The figure skater was one of the funniest individuals to Jungwon. He thought back to their mini revelation when they realized they both had moles on their faces, Jungwon's being on the right side of his jaw. He internally laughed at the times Sunghoon tried to help him balance on the ice. Thinking about each of their own strong suits being what each other is not too great at. Jungwon failed on the ice and Sunghoon fell in Taekwondo.

His gaze moved to Jake, asleep in possibly the most uncomfortable-looking position ever, upside down. He looked at the Australian, already giggling at his current state. He thought about all the times he had to help with English translation, helping him sort out thoughts, and being there, always. He felt his tears turn into sobs as he covered his mouth in an attempt to not wake anyone.

Looking at Sunoo and Ni-ki, he almost laughed. He trusted those two with everything he had ever known, they were always there to make him laugh. He had heard someone coin them as the "Sassy line," which he found hilarious. He had to admit both of those members were the sassiest people he had ever met, but also the most understanding. He could come to them about anything and they would listen and comfort him. He knew even if the world was crumbling he could confide in either of them.

Jungwon glanced at the stars and then back to the members, smiling. "I love you guys, this is my family, you're all I have. You guys are my world," he whispered through tears. The members continued sleeping, unaware of the situation. "I couldn't live without any of you. This is home." His thoughts collected, understanding his point in life, he was tired of not being enough. Not enough to compare to his amazing members. Jungwon whipped his tears before glancing at the door, at least the stairs to the roof weren't far.

HI, I'M NOT DEAD. HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! So, how is everyone?- I have been so dead it's sad I've been really busy but I'm trying to keep my motivation alive ToT. I hope this is complete trash despite being short-. Also, it's in the photo but I just learned that Jungwon has a mole on his jaw, and I think it's cool as fuck-. Hope you enjoyed it! Have a great day/night!

Question: Should I make an alternative ending that's not so sad?
