EPILOGUE

"Love, Angel is here."

Humigpit ang paghawak ko sa bedsheet ng marinig ko ang sinabi ni Liam. I heave a sigh and looked up.

She is here. She pursed her lips and clutched her bag.

Si Liam naman ay nandon lang malapit sa pinto nakatingin sa akin. I gave him a nod to tell him to leave us for a second. He sighed and went outside, before closing the door.

Angel watched as the door closed, before gazing back at me.

"Uhmm..Hi Mika."She awkwardly said.

"Hey."I smiled at her. She relaxes a bit, before walking to me.

She sit at the chair and smiled at me."How are you?Kuya told me, you woke up last week."

"I'm feeling better, actually. Thank you for asking."I smiled to her."This is weird, right?Months ago we were fighting like wild cats and now we're..."I made a hand gesture and chuckle."talking."

"Yeah, but it feels relaxing though."she said."You know, when the anger and jealousy inside you leaves your body. It feels like you're free."She releases a breathe like she's free.

"Yeah."

"I wanted to apologize Mika about everything."She hold my hand."I was just blinded with my obsessiveness with Liam,and my anger and jealousy with you made it impossible for us to reconnect."

"I understand."I know that she didn't mean any of it, she was just blinded with her love of obsession for Liam.

"No, you shouldn't be understanding!"Nagulat sa pagtaas nang boses niya. She sighed and looked away. Bibitawan na sana niya ang kamay ko pero hinawakan ko ito.

"What do you want me to feel, Angel?"I asked her, calmly.

"I want you to be mad at me!"She cried."Take revenge or something!"iyak niyang sabi."After all, I did horrible things to you. I manipulated you and Liam when both of you were having amnesia. You almost died while saving me!Its justifiable, that you should be mad."

"You know very well that I am not that kind of person, Angel."

"I know."She looked away."You care for everyone even those who harm you. Ang bait mo. No wonder, Liam loves you."She bitterly laughed. I know that she still has feelings for Liam even though it was more of an obsession.She saw how my smile faltered."Don't get me wrong, I am starting to move on with Jaxon by my side."

"You two are trying?"I asked. I am happy for them, after all Jaxon did everything just for Angel to notice him.

"Yup, it took me years to see his genuinity."She wipe her tears."He makes me warm and safe. I have never felt that, not even with Liam."

"I'm happy for you."

"Thank you. I am also happy for you and Liam's engagement."

Lumapit ako sa kanya at yinakap siya ng mahigpit. She stiffed and after some time she relaxed and hugged me back. We cried in happy tears that we have now reunited once more as friends, with no bitterness, jealousy, and anger.

After some days, I am finally discharged and can go home.

Narinig ko ang pagbuntong-hiningq ni Liam sa likuran ko. "Tired from work?"He was hugging me from the back.

"Yeah, but don't worry."

I faced him and leaned my back from the railings before caressing his face and he close his eyes feeling it. Hinawakan niya ito at hinalikan.

"Mom told me you refuse to go home, and will always stay by my side."

"She told you that?"

"At the hospital, when you were away."He nodded and hold my hand.
