CHAPTER 53

Mika Ella Fuentebella's P.O.V.

"Have you finished packing, love?"tanong sa akin ni Liam nang matapos na ito mag-impake.

I dragged the zipper and then I smiled at him."I'm done."He nodded his head and took my bags. Sabay kaming lumabas ni Liam sa hotel room at pumunta sa lobby. Nang makadating kami sa lobby ay nandon na ang ka-batch mates namin, at ang hininintay na lamang ay si Jesca.

Nang bumaba na si Jesca ay sabay kaming pumunta sa airport gamit ang van. Nang makadating na kami sa airport ay lumapit sa amin si Jesca.

"Sasabay kaba sa amin?"tanong ko sa kanya.

"I have my private jet. It was nice being with you and Kiara in this vacation, Mika."She said and genuinely smiled.

"I'm so happy that we are friends now."sabi ko at ngumiti pabalik.

"Yeah, me too."sabi niya at yinakap namin siya dalawa ni Kiara. Nang bumitaw kami ay ngumiti kami sa isa't isa."Adios."sabi niya at umalis. Pumasok na din kami sa loob nang airplane at hinanap namin ni Liam ang seat namin. Kagaya nang pagpunta namin dito ay makatabi kami ni Liam.

I was looking outside, thinking that we are now going home. Back to our lifestyle and back to our jobs, and atleast we get to spend time together. Catching up of what we are doing, and what are our lives right now. It was really a breathtaking experience that I will remember for a lifetime.

"Do you want to sleep?"Liam whispered to my ears and that made me smile.

"No."I said while still looking outside. In my peripheral vision, I saw him nodded and hold my hand. When the airplane took off, I was just admiring the clouds and minutes later, I fell asleep at Liam's shoulder.

"Love."

Minulat ko ang aking mga mata nang marinig ang mahinang tawag sa akin ni Liam. He was smiling at me and putting the strands of my hair at the back of my ear. "We're already here."sabi niya kaya tumayo na ako sa aking kinauupuan.

Nang mag-landing na ang eroplano ay lumabas lahat nang passengers at pati nadin kami ni Liam. When we got outside of the airport, we saw our batch mates waving at us and head to their cars and left. Napatingin ako kay Kiara nang lumapit ito sa akin at yinakap ako.

"See you, Mika."

"Bye Kiara."

Ngumiti siya at tumango kay Liam at tumango naman si Liam. Pumunta si Kiara sa isang kotse at binuksan ito at sumakay na at umalis. Napatingin ako kaila Jax at Matthew na lumapit sa amin.

"Alis na kami, bro."sabay na sabi ni Jax at Matthew at tumango lamang si Liam. Tumingin sila sa akin at ngumiti naman ako pabalik. I hugged them both and they hugged me back."Bye, Mika."sabay nilang sabi at bumitaw na sa yakap at umalis na.

Napatingin kami dalawa ni Liam nang dumating na ang Lamborghini niya sa aming harapan. Lumabas don ang driver at binigay kay Liam ang keys. He bowed infront of us and left.

"Saan iyon sasakay?"tanong ko habang tinitignan ang lalaki na umalis.

"He already book a grab."He said while playing with his keys. Tumango naman ako sa sinabi niya at pumasok kami sa kanyang kotse. He started the engine and we drove off. I was looking outside the whole ride and my brows furrowed when I realize that this is not the way to his house or mine.

Tumingin ako kay Liam at nagtanong."May pupuntahan ba tayo?"

"Yeah, just a surprise."he said while not taking his eyes, off the road.

"What is the surprise this time, Liam?"sabi ko at humalikipkip.

"If I tell you, it won't be a surprise."he said and smirked at my direction. I sighed in defeat, thinking that I can't argue with this guy. He has a point though, If he tells me what the surprise is, it won't be a surprise.

I gazed outside, thinking of what his surprise might be. Is he gonna give me a dove? A swan?Or are we gonna ride horses?Is he gonna give me a house?An engagement ring?The heck!Its too early for that. I'm not even sure, if this guy thinks of me as his partner for the rest of his life.

I heard my phone ringing, so I immediately get my phone. My brows furrowed, when I saw Michael's name. I immediately answered the call thinking it was an emergency.

"Michael?"

[Ate!]I was startled when I heard Michael sobbing!

"Bakit ka umiiyak, Michael?May nangyari ba?"I was worried of what happened to Michael and Liam notice it because he look at my direction, before looking back at the road.

[Summa cum laude!]sigaw niya kaya muntik ako mabitawan ang phone ko nang dahil sa sinabi niya.

"Oh my gosh!Congratulations!"I bite my lips containing my happiness and excitement for my little brother, who is one of the latin honors.

[Thanks, ate. ]My tears started to stream at my cheeks when I heard how he is so happy and proud of achieving this.

"Wow, I'm so happy for you!Congratulations, bunso."sabi ko at pinahid ang aking mga luha.

[Thank you ,ate!What time will you be here, ate?]tanong niya at napatingin naman ako kay Liam.

"May pinuntahan kami nang kuya Liam mo, pero uuwi din kami."sabi ko at nakatangin parin kay Liam na nagmamaneho.

[Okay, bye ate.]

"Bye Mich. Congratulations!"sabi ko at inend ang tawag.

"You seem happy."sabi niya at sinulyapan ako.

"Summa cum laude!"I exclaimed and he smiled at me sweetly.

"That's good and I think I will hire him as our engineer, soon. After he passed the board exam."napangiti ako sa sinabi niya. Liam stopped the car and looked at me."We're here."ngiti niyang sabi at lumabas sa kanyang kotse. I was about to go out, when suddenly he opened the door. He offered his hand and I accepted it.

My brows furrowed, when I saw the construction. Some of the construction workers smiled and greeted at us and continued working.

"Do you like it?"tanong niya at hinawakan ang aking beywang.

"Anong ginagawa natin dito, Liam?Are we gonna be construction workers?"Napatawa siya sa sinabi ko.

"Mr. Timberlake."Napatingin kami sa lalaki na tumawag kay Liam. He was running towards us with a blueprint in his hand and an orange hat in his head and I think he's the engineer.

"Engr. Cortez, this is my girlfriend, Ms. Mika Ella Fuentebella."Liam introduced me to the engineer.

"Good morning, Ms. Fuentebella. I am Engr. Jake Cortez."sabi niya at naglahad nang kamay kaya tinanggap ko ito.

"How's the construction?"tanong ni Liam at mabilis naman pinakita sa amin nang engineer ang blueprint.

"Its good, sir. I estimated that the cafe and art gallery will be finished next 2 months."I was shocked when I heard what the engineer said. Tumingin ako kay Liam at kumindat sa akin. Cafe?Art gallery? Is this all for me?

"That's good."sabi ni Liam at tumango.

"I'll go back to work, sir."Engr. Cortez said.

"Yeah, sure."sabi ni Liam at tumango naman si Mr. Cortez at bumalik sa construction site. Nang umalis na si Engr. Cortez ay napatingin ako kay Liam na nakangiti sa akin.

"Surprise."he said and I gazed at him like I couldn't believe what is happening right now!

"Is this for real?Kailan mo ito naisip?"tanong ko at mahina naman itong napatawa.

"When we were in Palawan, I contact an engineer and they happily agreed."napailing ako sa sinabi niya. I can't believe this guy.

"You didn't have to do this, Liam."sabi ko at hinawakan ang kanyang kamay.

"But I do. I want you to achieve your dreams. This is your dream, right?"he asked and cupped my face.

"Yes and thank you for giving it to me."sabi ko at yumakap sa kanya.Nang may alala ay napabitaw ako."Paano ang company?"

"The construction is not yet finished, so you're still gonna be my secretary."he said as he hold my waist.

"True."I said and looked at the construction that will soon be my cafe and art gallery. I can't believe that I can now achieved my dreams, all because of Liam. I am so lucky to have him, and I will cherish and love him forever.
