Ragini gets shocked hearing this.. She had nothing to answer..

Ragini - Laksh.. Hum..

Laksh lets out a bitter chuckle at this..

Laksh - Nahi Ragini .. Nahi chorti tum sanskaar ko.. Kyunki tum koi force m ya dusro ki marzi se usse shaadi nahi kar rahi thi.. Tum usse shaadi kar rahi thi apni marzi se.. Apni pasand se.. Toh phir tumhe apni feelings k baare m bata kar kya karta main..?? Rejection sehta?? Aur uske baad tumhaari aankhon m mujhe dekhkar humesha pity hoti, dard hota.. Phir kyu batata main tumhe sab..??

He looks at her questioningly while she looks down at this not having anything to say..

He was right.. She wouldn't have left sanskaar for laksh..

Laksh wouldn't have got anything but rejection if he confessed..

Laksh - Atleast bina bataye tumhaare chehre par mujhe dekh kar smile toh hoti thi.. Agar bata deta toh wo bhi mit jati.. Tum apne guilt se battle karti aur main apne rejection se.. Aur waise bhi jo hona tha, ho gaya.. Ab hum saath hai.. So I guess all's well that end's well.. Ab agar yeh question tumse pucha jayega toh tum mujhe chunogi..haina..?? Chunohi na mujhe..??

She looks up at him and nods frantically..

Ragini - Ab humaari har choice aap hi honge laksh..

Laksh gets a smile on his face.. Ragini takes his hands in her's..

Ragini -  Trust me.. Aaj hum isliye itne jyada effected nahi huye ki humaare dil m kuch feelings hai unke liye but wo dard, wo humiliation jo humein sehna pada, jo betrayal sehna pada wo toh abhi tak hai na.. ?? Hum sach m apni life m aage badh gaye hai aur hum bahut khush bhi hai ..bahut hi jyada khush par aaj khush hone se humaara kal khatam toh nahi ho jata na.. Ek time tha jab humein laga tha ki humaari life m sab kuch khatam ho chuka hai aur wo sab sanskaar ki wajah se hua tha.. I was reminded of all that back again.Wo ab humein dard nahi de sakte lekin humne jo dard saha uski yaadein toh takleef de sakti hai..

She looks down sadly.. Laksh puts his one hand under her chin and makes her face him..

Laksh - Aur main yahi dard mitana chahta hu.. Humesha k liye.. Agar jo sanskaar ne kaha wo sach nikla toh tumhaare paas wo sab feel karne ki wajah hi nahi rahegi.. Main uss wajah ko hi mitana chahta hu..

Ragini feels hesitant upon this..

Ragini - Aapko.. Aapko sach m lagta hai ki wo sach keh rahe the..?? But aisa kaise ho sakta hai..?? It doesn't even  make sense..

Laksh - I don't know Ragini.. I really don't know.. But humein mauka toh dena hoga na..Sach sabit karna ka.. Sanskaar ko apni baat rakhne ka.. Just imagine what he has to go through if he is saying the truth.. Wo kaafi kuch already kho chuka hai.. Atleast aur kuch na kho de sirf iss wajah se ki usse sach sabit karna ka mauka hi nahi mila

Ragini - Aur....Aur agar jo unhone kaha wo sach nikla toh..

Ragini looks at him painfully.. Laksh grip tightens on her hand..

If what sanskaar said is truth then it means he never betrayed ragini and his family.. All that pain, the humiliation it wasn't his fault.. All the blame puts on him, the accusations thrown, the anger it was all baseless..

All that she had to go through was baseless....

The most painful time of her life would turn out to be a lie.....
