I thought Jimin was taking me to the hospital where we would be unloading everything we had stuffed in the car and where I would be meeting Jin, but that wasn't the case. Jimin drove me straight to an apartment building where the man I was to spend my evening with was waiting out front patiently. Jin wore a thick coat, one hand lifted from his pocket as he spotted us, waving as if we hadn't spotted him standing there. I waved back although I wasn't sure he could see us through the tinted glass before turning to Jimin.
"You didn't want me to help you with this stuff first?"
"Nah. I can handle it. I promised Jin I'd bring him to you first thing. Out of all of us, I know the two of you don't get as much time together because of his work schedule, so I'm making sure you get as much time with one another as possible."
He parked the car, watching amusedly as Jin carefully, but quickly attempted to navigate the steps saturated with snow before his gaze found mine.
"You can say it. I'm an amazing boyfriend."
I giggled, leaning over the center console to kiss him.
"The best boyfriend." I whispered against his lips.
The softness of his covered mine again as he leaned in to meet me. This kiss was slow and pointed. Both of us savoring each other until we couldn't anymore when the door beside me opened. I broke the moment, turning to Jin who peeked into the car with a raised eyebrow.
"Here I am freezing my butt off while you two enjoy yourselves."
"You could always join." Jimin grinned.
"Tempting. But I have dinner going upstairs."
"We better get up there then."
I gathered my purse which Jin took from me without so much as a word as he moved out of the way of the exit with a hand out to help me.
"I'll see you later." I bid to Jimin with one last kiss before accepting Jin's hand.
"Let's get inside quick. It's cold." Jin shivered, closing the car door behind me.
We both made it up the steps and into the building without much issue. Only slipping once or twice on the steps that were getting harder to see as more snow covered them. But Jin held onto me tightly, making sure I didn't fall and I did the same. Jin waved to the lobby receptionist as we passed to board the elevator.
"So, what's for dinner?"
"Chicken alfredo ravioli. I hope that's okay."
"That sounds delicious!"
He smiled shyly, looking up at the screen on the wall displaying the floors as we passed them.
"Actually, I was kind of hoping we could cook together."
I beamed, wrapping my arms around one of his own.
"I'd love to! As long as you show me what to do because I've never made ravioli before, and I would hate to be the one to ruin it for us."
