I quickly touched up my makeup

I quickly touched up my makeup. Hoseok had worked miracles on my hair. So much so that it didn't even appear like I had romped with two men in the upstairs bridal suite by the time I reapplied some mascara and lip gloss. No evidence except for my aching back and sore ass from Jungkook's hand. Every brush of my dress against the red, welted skin burned and I knew I'd be cursing him later when I went to sit down.

I made it to the front doors to the sanctuary where Jinyoung was already waiting. Other than him, Kat and her father stood several paces away. Everyone else I imagined had already been told to take their seats on either side of the aisle in the other room. Jinyoung smiled as I approached and if I didn't have a certain several someone's smiles to already compare it to, I probably would've thought it was cute. He was certainly good looking, I'd give him that.

"There she is. I was worried for a moment." He chuckled, shifting over a little to make more room for me as we stood outside the ceremony hall. "Thought I was going to have to hunt you down." He teased.

"Sorry. I had something to take care of." I huffed, giving him a wry smile.

"I see." He nodded quietly, letting the silence between us linger as the chatter through the closed doors became more noticeable.

"So, which one is it?"

I looked to Jinyoung, who peeked at me out of the corner of his eyes with a knowing grin.

"Pardon?"

"Well, I mean, I just happened to see Jungkook and another man enter the bridal suite earlier when I was wandering around. Thought maybe Jungkook went in after you while the other followed to congratulate Kat, but then I saw Kat downstairs with her parents. And while you've done a remarkable job hiding it..." he leaned down to my ear. "You're still a little flushed and all the perfume you've put on doesn't quite mask the scent of sex."

He stood straight again, cocking his head to the side with that smirk still in place.

"So, I'm curious which one you had the tryst with because I noticed that they both happened to leave together as well."

I narrowed my eyes at him. Calculating whether I could be honest about it, or if I could make up some kind of excuse. Amazingly, Jinyoung didn't look anything except genuinely curious, amusement twinkling in his eyes as he waited on me to say something.

"You're unusually observant."

He shrugged. "Just calling it like I see it. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. I was just wondering if I needed to be keeping a look out for one, or two men while I'm around you so I don't get my ass beat if I slip up." He chuckled.

I laughed with him, looping my arm through his as the voices on the other side of the door started winding down and the music started indicating it was almost time.
