Jungkook had offered to stay the rest of the day. Claiming he had cleared his schedule for the rest of the afternoon since he didn't know how long he would be at the shop. I showed him a few other orders I was working on, having him help when he felt like he had the hang of it. He was a super-fast learner. Picking up on things quickly and easily. The rest of the work day passed by so much quicker with him there. Before long, we were saying our goodbyes with Jungkook promising to be back sometime next week.

Kat emerged from the backroom just as he was leaving, tossing him her own farewells. As soon as he was out the door, she turned to me with her arms crossed.

"What is it?" I asked flipping the lock on the front door and taking down the open sign.

"Are we going to talk about what happened last Friday? I know it has something to do with that guy."

She meant Taehyung. I sighed. Everything that had happened was pushed to the recesses of my mind between filling orders, meeting with Namjoon, and having Jungkook here. Now that she was bringing it up, my guilt hit me like a mac truck all over again. Especially when it came to Yoongi. He had called a couple more times, but I had let them go to voicemail. He even sent me a text message asking to talk and if he had done something wrong. The second one made me feel even worse. I needed to get over myself and just confess.

It would be easier for myself and everyone else just laying it out in the open. Maybe Jin was right and talking to someone about it would make me feel better. That person might as well be Kat.

"Taehyung and I kissed."

"Okay, and?"

I looked at her confused. "And nothing. That was it."

Now it was her turn to look confused.

"What? You mean to tell me you've been moping around over a kiss? Was it awful?"

"No. Of course it wasn't. That's not why I'm upset."

"Then what is it because I'm tired of having to make up excuses to Taehyung when you're not here and why you haven't called him."

"He's been stopping by?"

I shut off the lights to the front of the store on my way to the backroom to finish packing up for the day, Kat hot on my heels.

"Yes he's been stopping by. Y/N, the man languishes around like you kicked his puppy or something."

Back to feeling bad I guess. Damn. I was on a role lately.

"If it wasn't the kiss then what's the problem?"

I didn't really want to divulge the information that Taehyung was also one of the escorts. That was his business. On the other hand, I was struggling to explain exactly how my feelings about what happened between us made me feel ashamed.

"Because I have a responsibility to the man I signed the contract with. How can I go around kissing other men?"

Kat looked less than impressed.

"Are you serious right now?" she pinched the bridge of her nose and exhaled loudly. "Y/N, you signed a contract with him. It's not as if you cheated. Your relationship isn't like a typical couple's."

"That's true, but I should still respect it. He signed it to help me. It feels like I'm trampling over it."

We finished closing up, locking the back door behind us as Kat walked me to my car. I could see Jackson parked in the lot next to the building. Waiting for Kat as he did most days.

"Well did you two mention that you should be exclusive to one another?"

"No."

"Then you shouldn't feel guilty. Listen, in his line of work, he probably doesn't expect anyone he's with to be just with him."

I couldn't deny that what she was saying made sense. Being an escort meant that they all had multiple women and probably even a few men that indulged in their services regularly. It would be a ridiculous notion to assume otherwise. Despite that logic, Yoongi did say that he and the other six weren't typically involved in the business anymore. That their services were only ever rendered in special circumstances. Surely that meant he wasn't seeing anyone besides me at the moment, right?

"But what if he's not okay with it?"

"Have you asked him?"

I shook my head. "No. To be honest, it never occurred to me because I certainly wasn't planning on making out with some other guy when I signed it in the first place."

She laughed, tugging her purse up higher on her shoulder as she walked to my side of the car. She put a hand on my arm giving me an easygoing smile.

"Just talk to him about it then. I promise you won't find closure any other way."

A sharp honk from the car across the lot let us know that Jackson was getting impatient. Kat rolled her eyes heading his way before turning to me one last time.

"Besides, Taehyung is like, really into you. So is the escort owner in case you're wondering. You should tap that." She winked.

"Go home. I think your quota of decent advice has been maxed out today."
