"Oh God, he told you that story?" Jin cringed, turning to nurse his glass of wine just so he didn't have to hear my laughter.
We had moved to the living room. Both of us taking up opposite ends of the sofa with another bottle of wine between us. I was currently retelling the story Tae had told me that night we were at the club together. One where Jin appeared less than pleased that that embarrassing time in his life had been exposed.
"I'm going to have to have some words with him." He mumbled, peering into his almost empty glass.
"Don't be too hard on him. He'd had a few drinks."
"Then I guess it's only fair if I get to share some embarrassing stories of him too, right?"
"You have some in mind?"
"Several. Only difference is that Tae doesn't have any shame. Nabbing your underwear that morning at the apartment was the first time in a long time I'd seen him actually look guilty about something."
"Speaking of, I still haven't been able to find them."
"I'm almost positive he's harboring them in one of two places." Jin tossed back the last of his drink, features pensive as he held up his fingers. "One, his car. The man has an unhealthy obsession with stashing things where they're readily accessible. If he keeps them there then he has them at his disposal whenever he wants. Two, in the bottom drawer in Jimin's closet."
I nearly spit out my sip of wine at that last part.
"Jimin's closet?"
Jin nodded. "The two of them probably share the closest bond out of any of us. Tae's always hidden things there. I'm pretty Jimin knows and just lets him. Same way I know Jimin tries to be sneaky and slips hints about what he wants for dinner under the guise that you asked for it."
"Man, and he was so confident that you were oblivious."
His chuckle was deep and reverberated through me even though we sat a good distance from one another. The sound elicited a harsh reaction from my body. My skin heating up, heart beating a little faster, and desire rushing through me to pool at the junction of my thighs. I licked my lips, the slightly bitter taste of the wine lingering on them. I looked down at the glass in my hands. I was beginning to think wine had some kind of power over my subconscious, bringing forth all my innermost wants and desires as it always seemed to dissolve my inhibitions when it was involved.
"Not oblivious. I just have a bad habit of indulging them."
"What about you?" I asked, setting my wine glass to the side before sliding a bit closer to him on the couch.
He watched me, empty glass still in hand as one eyebrow kicked up in curiosity.
"What about me?"
