The rest of the week passed quickly

The rest of the week passed quickly. Yoongi had sent me the address and time the evening we had spoken like he promised. Along with a request for us to have dinner together. He offered after confirming I didn't have any allergies or aversions to certain meals. If I wasn't nervous before then I certainly was now. It was one thing holding a meeting between two people. Dinner made it seem more like a date. Which I guess didn't matter too much. He was technically my "boyfriend" now.

I dressed a bit nicer than I normally would. Pairing a creamy knitted sweater with a black satin skirt and leggings, a pair of black booties, and a light mocha cardigan I deemed myself presentable enough for dinner and left. The winter air was cold making me hurry my pace to my car. The weather called for snow this weekend. First one of the season actually, but it was expected to stick. Seeing the way my breath escaped me in a warm cloud I expected it to start tonight. Hopefully it would hold off long enough for me to get back home.

The address Yoongi had sent wasn't that far from my place, but traffic was thick. It took me 20 minutes longer than it should have to reach his...apartment? I double checked the address. He had sent me the address to his apartment? My nerves skyrocketed. Heart pounding, I parked and took a couple of deep breaths before finally working up the nerve to get out. Then remembered I didn't know which apartment was his. Or how to get there. Searching for my phone, intending to call him, I noticed I already had a text message sitting unread.

Yoongi: 4304. I've let reception know you're coming.

I guess if he was anything it was thorough. I shrugged making my way up. I had looked into Yoongi a little bit. Besides a few articles claiming him to be a genius of the IT world and one of Seoul's most eligible bachelors there really wasn't much. He didn't participate in very many interviews, and he was an incredibly private person. In fact, I had found more information about Taehyung that Yoongi himself. It seemed like Taehyung was his right-hand man. He was involved in just about every project Yoongi's company had overseen. The two of them were almost inseparable.

It briefly crossed my mind that I was almost getting two for the price of one. No wonder Yoongi had mentioned that Taehyung would be working in close association with him. If Yoongi was more of the recluse, then Taehyung was the opposite. He was plastered over tons of news articles and magazines. He participated in hundreds of interviews and led most of the topics concerning upcoming projects Yoongi's company was investing in. Not only that, but he apparently also had a lot of jurisdiction over the specific projects they took on. Businessmen went to Taehyung directly rather than Yoongi. Knowing their chances of receiving funding and partnership were better with the right-hand man than the CIO himself.

Both reputations were irrefutable. I knew that my dad would approve of Yoongi and having access to Taehyung as an added bonus was like having the cake and eating it too. Now all that was left was to convince him that Yoongi and I were an item. Something that I was inconceivably worried about.
